Wow....So this just debut at E3, and this looks to be Halo on steroids----hell, any fps on steroids.

And it is going to be played cross-platform. Basically, its going to be a mmofps. SO Massive multiplayer online first person shooter.

A game called EVE already exists on PC's, and this game is going to be played on consoles in conjunction with the EVE players on PC.

I am not totally familiar, but it seems like a game where the entire universe is at war, fighting for control. And the EVE players are fighting from ships, space-station, and they hire ground-based Merc's (Dust players) to fight for control over planets.

And you can communicate in real time between the two games. So Dust players can call EVE players up to unleash air support as they are trying as a team to take over a planet.

Seems hugely ambition--here is a link....it gives more details and has a video. Looks amazing...

Looks like MAG from space to me. Also looks like it's a PS3 game.

Interesting....

Some of my more hardcore video game buddies always cringe when there is talk about making a cross platform (console - PC) game. PC gamers (with their mouse and keyboards) supposedly have a huge advantage over console gamers.

I'm a console-only gamer (and not particularly good at that), so I wouldn't know very much about all this.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

PC is just must easier to aim. A lot of times it is just click the mouse where you want to shoot. PS# you usually have to bring the aim up, him a button, and actually take time making the shot.
