Since the lockout looks like it's about to end I just wondered if anyone has gotten their season tickets yet?

Or has anyone even heard anything about them yet?

Nope. Considering the first preseason game is supposed to happen in three weeks, however, I imagine we'll be seeing them soon.

You'd think after all these years I'd remember when they normally get sent out but I don't.

I figured they must be going out soon since I think the first preseason game is Aug 13th or around there.

The last few years they have come by the 2nd weekend of July. Maybe they don't want to print them in case the dates change?

This and with the lockout not officially over, they have no idea how many preseason games there will be etc. Can't print the tix until they know.

They came in late July/early August in the past.

I think the league has delayed....sending tickets to a season in question isn't good business IMO.

I think UPS is going to have one busy ass day once things are settled.

I want my tickets, but I also want to know I will be able to use them.

Got an e-mail from the Browns at 3:40 PM saying:

"I am pleased to inform you that your 2011 Cleveland Browns Season Ticket package has been shipped! "

I got the note as well.....the tracking shows they left out of some PO in Pa early this morning.

I would guess I'll get mine tomorrow.

Did you get any sort of hat or is it just the tickets this year.

Some time back I did receive $5 off coupons that can be used for food or gifts at the stadium.....maybe that is the premium this year.

Got mine yesterday. The "gift" is a Browns Season Ticket Holder flag. Don't know what I'm going to do with it, but it is kind of cool.

instead of the cheesy saying, why not just have the flag be the 'season ticket holder emblem', which looks pretty cool? silly marketing guys always outsmart themselves.

No, it is dark brown.

And I agree - if it just had the season ticket holder emblem it would have been better.

I like the flag, mostly because they didn't have to give us anything, so I'll take it!.

Those look pretty cool. If someone doesn't like it, I'd buy one for my son's Browns/Wings/Buckeyes decor in his bedroom.

Got mine today.

I only have two #10 envelopes, so after a Walgreens run in the morning, I will separate them to then write on the envelopes hotel confirmation numbers, phone numbers, restaurant reservation times, travel info if applicable, to whom I've promised them , etc.

I like the flags.

No....six....or was it five???

I plan on possibly seven this year.....but it will probably end up 5.

I have some Steelers fans who want my seats.....I told them I would sell them to them if it isn't a game of meaning for me.

You need any seats??

C'mon 'Peen, you can't do that!!!

Hopefully that game will have some true meaning so it won't even come up.

Ah - just wondered, as I thought last year about this time, actually, I know that last year you said you'd get back to me with the games you weren't going to attend. Even after I reminded you in late August or September.

I just figured you decided to attend all the games.

FYI, anyone looking for tickets to most any game, let me know. I only sell to Browns fans and I only sell for face ($35/ticket)

I have 2 seats, literally on the top row of CBS. (Section 503, row 32). But, despite the hike up, it's a great view of the field and it keeps you out of the elements (since you're under the overhang).

I think the hubs and I may go to one game this year (In September - probably the Fins), but beyond that...they're all up for grabs.

Send me a message if you're interested.

I only sell for face....usually less to be honest.

I tried the never to anyone but Browns fans thing, but can't find enough of those willing to buy....mostly due to where I live.

I have a friend who has a friend who is a big Seahawks fan.....I think those seats are going to him.

There is a big Steelers group at the bar where I watch games...I've already had a couple run in to me at the Sunday farmers market I go to every week tell me they want the seats.

I always offer them to the few Brownies here who watch games with our group, but nobody ever wants to go

That's not it at all.....as I recall he was interested in two seats early in the season and the doubles I had were either promised away or late in the year.

This year I have no Bengals tickets to give, 1 for Miami, 1 Titans, 0 Seahawks, 1 Rams, 1 Jacksonville, 1 Balt, and 1 or 0 Steelers.

So as of now I plan on 7 games.....just as last year, but as was the case last year, things change.

So Arch, sorry if it looked like I stiffed you...that wasn't the case. I just didn't think I had anything you were interested in.

My rule for Steelers tickets. Browns fans have rights of first refusal at face ($40). If I can't find a buyer, the price for Steelers fans is $100 ea.

And I would rather eat the tickets than sell to a Stiller fan, but for that much money, I can gut it.
