Improments:

Preseason Matters
75 man Roster to start preseason, and you have to play with your rookies and new players to unlock their attributes in order to decide if you want to keep them!

Free Agency Bidding System
Ebay style bidding on Free Agents, and a time limit for FA, spend too much time on on e player, and miss out of others...

Trade Future Draft Picks
Want to be the virtual Bill Bellichek? Now you can with the ability to trade future draft picks!

User roles
Weather it be "Fumble Prone" (Adrian Peterson) or "Field General" (Manning, Brady) player roles are back.

Dynamic Player Performance
So your 80 Overall QB had a good game, instead of being an 80 OVR QB the next week, he may bump up a bit, same with having a bad game, even Peyton Manning doesn't play like a 98 overall EVERY week...

Just a few of the new upgrades to Madden 12 this year...

And I quote, "Can't Wait!"

I really like the sound of some of these "upgrades" (most of this was already available in ESPN NFL 2K5, otherwise known as the best football game ever). Might end up picking up a copy this yr.

I'm also picking up a copy.

I don't own any football games, so I figure one with Peyton Hillis would be a pretty good start.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I haven't bought Madden since Madden 08 and I also am picking up this one. I mean come on, how many times will we be able to buy a game with a CURRENT Cleveland player on the cover.

Kind of mad that they are making a Collector Edition that doesn't have Peyton Hillis. All the Steeler Fans will probably buy that version. I wanted them all to have a piece of Browns memorabilia in their house.

I really wish they'd wait to do the final Rosters until AFTER the season starts...

Delaying the release a month, wouldn't hurt it that bad, and guys like Vickers, Roth, and Wright, ya know, wouldn't be on the Browns...

Edit yourself, download a rosdter update yeah yeah, how bout we just do it right from the beginning?

I know these ratings aren't supposed to be perfect, but I thought MoMass had more speed than Robo? DQ and Roth have the same speed? Please

EA needs to start assigning people to every team to do better on their ratings... They sometimes appear to have no idea...

These ratings are still dialed back like they were a few years ago, right? Like how a rating in the 70s is average, as opposed to 80s in older versions? If that's the case I can't be too upset with these. Though I'll probably wait for the first update or a good fan-edited roster before I start my franchise.

I guess, once someone hits 75-77 they're pretty much ganna break 80 the next season if theyre young enough...

I'd just hate when I'd take a mid 70s QB, have an amazing season, and he'd only go up to like a 79...

Hopefully Madden does dissapoint me like NCAA did this year..

Once again Madden amazes at some of the rankings. Oh how I iwish ESPN 2K series was still around.

I don't really know, I'm not saying it was bad, the gameplay was really good, just liuttle things here and there, changes to certain things that I personally liked, I could probably get used to them, and maybe it was because I rented it and knew I wouldn't have it for long so I rushed through it... it just was blah...

Yeah, some of the ratings are a little messed up. But I edit the browns slightly myself when I get the game anyway. I figure I had more insight into the browns then the person giving the ratings.

I'm downloading the demo right now. If I have some time later, I'll post my impressions and let you guys know what's up.

I played the demo last night and I couldn't believe what I saw. You're at Soldier's Field and they showed the Arial view of the stadium and in the background was Lake Shore Dr. and there was like 3 cars driving on it. Come on EA, that is totally unrealistic. Even on a Sunday night at 8:00 there would be bumper to bumper traffic.

Lol, J/K. The demo was fun. I stopped the Bears to a field goal. I had a little over 2min left and drove down for a TD.

Heck, 8:00 pm on a Sunday night....try 3:30 am on a Tuesday morning too.

I downloaded the demo last night and I'll give it a whirl later today. It was cool going into the PSN store and seeing Hillis all over their main page.

I would have liked to see Hillis in the demo though. Is it Bears vs. Packers only? The NCAA demo last year game 4-5 different sets of teams to try out. I thought that was better than having only two teams.

Heck, the demo shouldn't be four 2-minute quarters....they should have picked 4-5 high moments of the 2010 season and make you re-enact or stop them.

liked the demo a lot, i think it will take awhile to get used to the feel, cause it's a bit different than 11.

Love the aerial shot of Soldier field, that is going to make me want to check out a home game for every team to see how they present each stadium.

Although the soldier field playing surface: very unrealistic. looks wayyyyyyyyyyy to nice.

The presentation looks a thousand times better. Seems like they really pushed hard to get that gameday experience when you flip on CBS or FOX on Sundays. I didn't get to see the different weather conditions.

I think this is going to be a must-buy for gamers who love football, as over the years the only must buy has been NCAA (in my opinon the last great madden game was 2006)

Can't wait to get this game... I have NEVER owned a Madden... I've always been a college football guy, but I have been leaning towards getting a Madden game for awhile and to be honest was planning on getting last year's version at the discount price.... but with Hillis being on the cover I gotta get this one!!! Can't wait!

Don't forget to check out Amazon.com. You get a $20 game credit towards your next purchase if you preorder.

I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

yeah, and you get release day shipping for 99 cents. I bought NCAA and got the same deal, so madden was only $40, and I had a $50 gift card, and then I will get the Madden $20 credit as well. Makes getting multiple games a lot cheaper.

Why does the demo look off to me? It's like they went backwards with the graphics. I hope that's just the demo. I have it on reserve for ps3.

I though the same thing when I played it. The gameplay graphics themselves seemed okay to me but everything else was weird. Like the kicking UI, that looks like something from N64

Oh yeah the kicking thing...I wish they would stop changing that! I skipped Madden 11 (I buy it every other year) and I like the way you do it in Madden 10. Now I gotta practice that.

I think the kicking control is the same version that they used from 2003-2008. I love that kicking control and will be unhappy if they move back to what they recently used, but that's just me.

JC Ive got it on pre-order no way Im not buying the game with the Browns on the cover. Even if the game blows it will be worth the money to see PH gracing the cover!

If you need 3 years to be a winner you got here 2 years to early. Get it done Browns.

I'm more of an NCAA guy myself. I enjoy the recruiting aspect of the game. It's kind of a game inside the game. I would love it if Madden would add something simialar to the FA in the game. Rather than the team offering the most money or best contract you would have to sell your organization to the player. Some guys may be higher on the talent level of the team while some guys care more about the money or that a team is in the players hometown.

The way it is now you just throw money at whatever players you want. It's pretty easy to get any player you want in the game.

Of course I haven't had Madden for a couple of years so maybe that has changed.

This year they overhauled the FA period, it's a eBay style bidding now, but say you spend too much time on one guy, you may not get someone else...

And the past few years they've had "interest bars" where some guys care for money and some care for a good team etc...

Maybe it's just me but I never got why people preordered the game when they can just walk right into best buy or walmart that day and buy it. I believe the only game I preordered was GTA san andreas back in the day.

So just saw some Screen Caps..

The Brown Pants are still there...

They had them like two years before we ever even used them...

And now they won't get rid of them...

Does EA even pay attention?
