i think the best part about that, other than the smoke coming out of the backboard, was that after the play, lbj tried going down making a play, and turned the ball over.
i know this wasn't a serious game, but it's entirely too fitting.
and i think the opposite about saying his name, why not? if anything, after what we've seen, maybe he did us a favor. it's pretty clear that right now, that guy would not have been fit to carry a team to a championship. for heaven's sake he couldn't even do it with another superstar player, along with another all star caliber power forward (who actually played well in the finals)
i don't wanna not give credit to dallas, they deserved it, but miami had that thing in hand, and celebrated too early, just like they did the night after the decision. they should have gone up 2-0 in that series, and they had already began their party after wade hit that huge 3.
i don't feel anything anymore when i see lbj. sure we miss the talent, but i don't think he ever could have done it on his own in cleveland, and we don't get kyrie irving in town if lbj is still around. with cleveland's inability to sign any big name guys still in their prime, i think the cavs are better off.
you don't need lbj to win a championship, in fact, no team that has won a championship in the history of the nba has needed lebron james. other than maybe dallas, lol.
