Well not all consistent but relatively. I think it's the general attitude where a girl (or a guy) can act one way and then *change* or *not put in as much effort* after they are married because "we're married and you should love me for who I am"

That could be a guy who is nice, takes his girlfriend out on dates, helps out with chores like dishes and laundry ... then when they are married he sits on the couch and drinks beer watching the game every night and changes.

It could be a girlfriend who goes to games and the bar with her boyfriend and then all of a sudden goes from being the life of the party girl who wants to share interests to saying "we're married - we don't do that anymore"

Or it could be the girl (or guy) who works out and stays fit ... then when they are married feels like they can put on 10 or 20 pounds, not wear as much makeup, wears sweatpants and baggy clothes around and etc. ... Kinda the same idea. Yeah people age ... but that's over a period of 20, 30, or 40 years. I'm talking about if someone all of a sudden changes after your married then it's kind of like you got tricked into something and didn't find out about the real person until then ... that's why it's frightening. You really gotta know a person before you marry them and that's why so many people fail (I would assume ... I don't claim to be an expert there )

Right...but isn't that the issue here? If the guy knew he could sued for not putting out, then he could've left. If the woman knew she was going to sue him and was just counting down the years...then she's just complete scum.

I'm sure the guy was completely unaware of this law or completely unaware that his wife would use it.

As for her, if she lived without sex or in a bad relationship for years just to collect $10K in a lawsuit then the jokes on her. I bet she was totally unaware of the law too and finally got a divorce and after 2 years of divorce she learned about this law and went back and sued him because she is a spiteful biotch... but that's just my opinion.

I am still kind of curious how much sex is enough to satisfy the law though.

I thought lawyers screwed everyone.

lawyers are the opposite of hookers. With lawyers you have to find the best one and pay them a ton of money to AVOID getting screwed.

My wife was tall and thin when we met and dated (though not real fit, it is just natural for her) she had 2 kids and with both kids within 30 days she was back to her original weight. For 16 years I doubt here weight has changed +/- about 5 pounds. But she still isn't fit because she doesn't do anything. She was just blessed with a metabolism that basically won't let her gain weight. She is now getting into her 40s so we shall see if that continues.

Me on the other hand, I gain weight if I look at a cinnamon bun so I have to work a lot harder. My weight has gone up probably 15-20 pounds since we met and I'm a bit softer in the middle than I used to be and I know that I need to work on it, I'm just so darn busy all the time. On the other hand, I can still work and run circles around her because I'm so much more active...

So what do you do?
