Maybe I am paranoid. Mississippi State could present a challenge to us, if we played them in the tournament. If Sidney actually tried against us he could give us problems inside.

Akron handled them.

Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

If we don't learn how to rebound over the next 3 1/2 games, North Carolina is going to kill us.

I'm noticing something, Kentucky and OSU struggle at rebounding.

I don't know, Carolina got outrebounded pretty handily against Michigan State for a fair amount of the game..

True, but we were outrebounded by PENN STATE until the last 2 minutes of the game and barely outrebounded Old Dominion

Zeller/Henson > Davis/Jones on the glass.

I think we're more talented and more athletic than North Carolina at 4 of 5 spots on the floor, but that won't mean much if we give up 75 shot attempts.

Penn State had 67 shot attempts, due to 18 offensive rebounds against us.

If we give up 18 offensive rebounds to North Carolina, they beat us by 20.

Talent wise ...

Teague > Marshall
Lamb > Strickland
Kidd-Gilchrist < Barnes
Jones > Henson
Davis > Zeller

But, with the matchups ...

Marshall is a smarter, more experienced player, and won't turn the ball over the way Teague has.

Lamb is just better than Strickland.

Barnes is just better than Kidd-Gilchrist

Henson won't disappear the way Jones has. He's consistent.

Zeller will own Davis on the glass, and is more physical down low.

UNC beats us by 10+, I'm afraid.

Ohio State is head and shoulders above everyone else in the big 10.

However Michigan should be interesting.

Yeah, but being head and shoulders ahead of everyone in the Big Ten is like saying ...

San Francisco is head and shoulders above everyone in the NFC West

So not only does Taylor get hip checked and not get to go to the line to tie it, but Curry travels, and then some nobody hits a prayer that never should go in ever. Unbelievable.

Dear Cavs,

Please draft a Huskie this year. Either Lamb or the future man child.

BUT BUT BUT

UCF has Michael Jordans sons!

Gophers who were a borderline team for a tourney team are no longer one cause Trevor M'Bakwe (spelling questionable) is done for the year with a ACL injury. Sully is just going to destroy the Big Ten.

My main concern is Coach K and the officials. The dude has pull, nobody can really question that. It's amazing what a couple questionable charge/ticky tack type calls can do to change a game like this.

Defending Brian Kelly will be a pain in the ass for this team.

I never thought you'd say something like this CandyMan. Haha.

Conn lost an early game this year, and I really can't talk about any other team's schedule anymore (our non-conf is a joke).

But I do think the defending champs have as good a shot as anyone else at the title. Same guys that we had last year one year older (besides Kemba of course) and Andre Drummond improving every game.

Once he and Alex Oriaki start playing well together, they'll be a dominant inside duo. We really have a ton of talent. The only thing that makes me nervous is that new grade requirement thing the NCAA instituted. I've heard UConn won't be allowed in the tourney next year. That means Drummond and Lamb probably will be leaving this season for sure. Plus I fear Jim Calhoun could be leaving any year now.

If he could only hand the team over to ex-UConn fav of mine Kevin Ollie! (who is an assistant coach)

Lamb is just a stud, I can't hate on that.

If OSU wins the title the losing team gets to hear this song instead of one shining moment

If Ohio State makes the Final Four, I'll stop calling Thad Matta the most overrated coach in college basketball.

That honor would then go to Jim Boeheim.

I've never really heard anyone talk about how Matta is a great coach.

I don't think he's a great coach, honestly, he's a pretty good coach, and a guy who can work well with really really really good talent.

I don't think OSU can do any better though. They aren't getting a big time big name coach, so I'm ok with Matta.

Holy cow. I leave work to pick up pizza with OSU up by 3, when I finally find the station on the sat radio they are up by 11, I get out of the pizza joint and it is 15 and when I get back to work it is 19. Wow. Tempering my excitement, 19 against Duke is still achievable (can you tell I'm a Browns fan??)

Great game by OSU... In the end they seemed to get every break and everything they threw at the basket seemed to go in and Duke couldn't ever seem to find a rhythm .... I don't think Duke is nearly as bad as they looked or that OSU is as good as they looked.. but on this night, OSU was almost unbeatable. If OSU can shoot just a reasonable % from the outside, they are going to be hard to beat.

I was pretty happy with the way Maryland played considering they are missing 3 guys including their only true point guard...
