It makes me look at my life and wonder ... Wonder about many things...Good..bad..happy.. sad... Have I been good to my family,,friends..myself..Where do I stand in the eyes of God..And on judgement day...If one..what judgement will be handed to me...
Stories like this... just make me think ... what if....If any thing...it's a time to reflect...like bye week...make the changes you need.to improve...
Myself... I can't make a mockery of this..nor do I actually believe in it...But it does make me think...I really do try to be a good person and tell my children to use the word Love more often.... It really is a powerful word...for the good..

It came, it went, no reports of unattended cars on the highways or missing store clerks or anything related to vanishing people anywhere. If rapture happened while I was sleeping, it was a bit disappointing, so few made the that cut no one noticed. Now maybe we can focus on the Mayans and forget about these johnny come lately's into the fray that is the end of the world. December 21, 2012 - Let's Party!

I was thinking about this a bit today .... and I came to a conclusion .....
When a preacher of some sort comes out and says "Give away all of your worldly goods ... not to me, but to help your neighbors and friends ...... living the Word of God instead of just talking the talk. Do not send a penny to me, (the preacher's organization) but give to help spread the Word of God where you live. We (the organization) are giving away everything we have to help those less fortunate, and to try to give them the Word of God in one last great push so that as many as possible will be saved when the end days come."
If it didn't always come off as a fund raising event, it might be a little easier t take them seriously.

Because I remember Carson's Karnak bit ....... and while Tulsa's bit would be entirely too far over the top for Carson..... it was still in the same vein of comedy he used, and struck me as rather amusing .... hence I laughed.
It doesn't mean that I think we should napalm the protesters. I am, however, appalled by many of the things they are doing in the name of "protest" though. I don't see how doing drugs, having sex in public, stealing, committing rape, trashing everywhere they go, threatening people, calling for violence, and so on, are legitimate protest tactics.
