One of the guys in my league apparently wants my money guy

Fred Jackson BUF RB

He wants to trade me:

Chris Johnson TN RB
Larry Fitzgerald AZ WR
Nate Washington TN WR

I would do it. But if I was in that league I would also veto it.

What does the rest of your RB stable look like?

I would lean towards yes.

Well if you have at least 2 more above avg RBs i would do it! otherwise it doesn't make a whole lot of sense....

My other RB's are:

Arian Foster, Shonn Green, Ben Tate

So, you could pair up Arian Foster and CJ2K on the same team together. While CJ has not been as good as past years so far that was to be expected because of the holdout.

Foster + Arian could blow up huge down the stretch and you get to add Larry Fitzgerald as well. Anything that Nate Washington gives you is gravy at that point.

Despite how good Fred Jackson has been, this is an obvious trade as you get about equal value going forward at RB + a near-elite (this year) WR and a possible high-ceiling WR to boot.

Well the risk you take is sure fire 20+ points from your RB right now replaced by a maybeeee 15-20 points on a good day frm CJ(unless he picks up his old ways in the 2nd half of the season).

Do you REALLY need fitz? how are your WRs? i mean if they stink then it is no brainer cuz you are getting fitz and a good WR in washington

BTW, the guy that proposed the trade to me has Maurice Morris RB DET I'm kicking around the idea of countering with substituting Morris for Nate Washington.. hmm..

I don't see why there is any hesitation to do this trade.

you are starting Denarius Moore. I wouldn't have taken the chance he changes his mind by countering. Fitz from D-Moore is a pretty big upgrade and mitigates any risk going from Fred to CJ.

That's a GO on the trade...even without the counter you want.

I accepted the trade with no counter. I also dropped cassel and picked up Carson Palmer lol.. we'll see what happens.

Assuming your team was already at full roster strength, who were the other two players you dropped to make room for this 3 for 1 trade?

For this trade I dropped:

Matt Cassel
Antonio Gates
Johnny Knox

Then I dropped Ben Tate and picked up Carson Palmer to replace Cassel

Do you have to have 2 kickers & 2 defenses on your roster? I wouldn't have dropped Gates.

I ended up getting Gates back.. and the other guy is stuck with Fred Jackson on IR bwahaha..
