Still not as bad as Wisconsin fans chanting overrated and then storming the field like they just completed the biggest upset in the history of their program.

Talk about contradicting yourself.

Oh yeah, they did it a few months later in basketball as well.

They are both terrible, but it might be worse that Ohio State did it. You're Ohio State!

It's still awesome that we handed Wisconsin's douchey coach a nice blow to his season. Hope they enjoy the Capital One bowl.

I think Tops point is, and I tend to agree with it, by storming the field in a regular season conference game, means you have accepted this "underdog" status... OSU is a team that won the Big 10 in 2005, 6, 7, 8, 9 and went what, 12-1 with a bowl victory over the SEC in 1010? Midway through your first truly disappointing season in a decade you should not be religated to storming the field after one mid-season victory over a team that you traditionally beat... thats just my opinion...

And it comes from somebody who has been extremely disappointed in his own schools fans more times than I care Ýo mention.

Maybe they figured people are going to hate on the Buckeyes anyway, so why not have some fun with it.

Honestly at this point we might as well embrace the villain role. Nothing we can say or do at this point to change peoples minds. I don't even care.

Ummmmmmm We were underdogs

Big ones....

I think some people need to get over themselves....This was a Big win for OSU with all of the difficulties they had...and it was a release of pent up energy and frustration.

Good for them...

Top looks at it as if we were celebrating this in the context of tradition and the context of how this win rates in the all time lore......and in that context it doesn't rate very high. There is no National Championship complications because of this game...We aren't goint to be vaulted into the top 5 rankings because of this game...We aren't going to one of the big BCS Bowl Games because of this game....

So what....

This isn't a traditional season. This is a young team that has faced a lot of adversity...much of it is not of their own doing...It was the doing of those teammates they looked up to...Some of it justly applied some of it may not be...that is a completely different discussion. But this young team is not the traditional Powerhouse that is to be "expected" from Ohio State. However, they do everything in their power to try and meet those expectations. To this point they have come up short. They barely beat the patsy non-cons....get crushed by Miami....lose 2 conference games for the first time in forever....And after all the beat downs and faliures....and with no one believing they could do it.....they took down what many thought to be a National Championship Contender. And they did it with heart.....and they did it in dramatic fashion....and they did it on Homecoming night.

Rush the field OSU....Rush the field.......You deserved it.

I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken...

What's the use of wearing your lucky rocketship underpants if nobody wants to see them????

And this is why people were upset with the division setup, OSU is having one of its "worst" seasons and all it takes is an ILL crapper and a last second win and they are right in line with the Big 10 Title game...

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

i can't wait for Boise, Air Force, Navy, and Army to turn down the Big East. That's gonna be fun (as they tried to not release the names that we all knew they were targeting anyway).

umm, well, you see, I sort of like it not being in the Big East. it's not you, it's me. I swear.

And really, if they wanted to join a power conference, then they should just make their own (not like it would be any worse than the Big East). Those 4 and they can probably talk Houston, UCF, East Carolina, and it'd be a coup if they could get BYU to join too (SMU could be their backup choice or they could pair them with SD-State for a 10team league). Makes no sense geographically, but they'd be the 6th best conference in football.
