Apparently the one announcer doesn't want players to try for extra yards ever...
How many yards is acceptable sir?

Weeden locked on his man again. He's barely gone through any reads this entire second half and refuses to look at Blackmon unless he's the primary read.

I look at these Primetime Weekly games late in the season, Boise/Nevada last year, this game tonight..
If you put these games on at Noon on Saturday, would they be as close?

If Oregon wins the Pac-12, they should jump Alabama.

So, you're against Alabama because it'd be a rematch, but Oregon is okay?

No it's because one team would have won their conference and the other didn't

In my scenario, Oregon wins its conferance.
Alabama doesn't even play in it's conferance game...

I'll be rooting HARD for USC tomorrow. Cant stand Oregon and its midget patrol offense. Come on Barkley show me a reason not to be disappointed if the Browns pick you come April.

I understand not LIKING spread/option style of play.
But you come across as if you're OFFENDED by it.
It's kind of ridiculous.

Also, don't forget 9-1 Arkansas who could really screw things up by knocking off LSU next week.

How about this.
LSU loses to Arkansas badly. Do to the loss they drop below Alabama. LSU still goes to the SEC title game, barely beats Georgia. The bad loss and close win aren't enough to push them back up.
Alabama plays Team B for the NC. While SEC Champ, and only team that beat Alabama plays in the Sugar Bowl.
Far fetched? Sure. Possible? It's why I hate the BCS.
I hate that because Ok State lost ONE GAME they aren't even IN THE DISCUSSION anymore...

So I take it you didn't watch Auburn/Oregon last year?
TCU/Wisconsin?
Read/Option is a large part of the College game nowadays.

I think that'd be awesome!!!! I'm a huge playoff proponent...so I say screw the BCS.... I hope LSU loses and Bama and Houston go to the BCS championship just to tick everyone off....

If they creep you out, just think what it'd do to Steeler and Raven defenders.

Did Gundy freak out after the game? Is he a man?! Is he 40?!
Jerk.
Karma baby.

What does him defending an 18 year old kid from the media have to do with Karma?
And why does that make him a jerk?

He was a gigantic jerk for the way he handled it.
The media are leaches, but it's their job. And that woman wrote an article about a QB from a BCS conference, supposedly where adults play (he should be able to handle a discussion on if he doesn't have the stones to handle the starting spot). If the kid was that fragile, go play in QB in Div III.
Maybe the article was too harsh but that doesn't mean the coach needed to go on a 5-10 minute rant about this woman. He freaked out. He ripped her. He lost control. He reacted like a 18-year old kid, not a "40-yeard old man" that is a head coach of a BCS football program.
A "man" takes the high road or at least rips the writer in private. Some might see him as a guy that was backing his player, all I see was an immature coach doing the SAME thing he was pissed about (ripping someone apart in the media). What kind of lesson did he provide for the young men he is teaching life lessons? Freak out, lose control, berate a woman in public, because someone questioned if a player doesn't have what it takes to be the starting QB? Please. He couldn't have handled that worse.
So yes.....karma.
I know I might be the only person who saw that outburst that way......but I can't think of a single respected head coach that would do that.

As far as this week goes.....goodness, talk about madness! I think "college football" wants this type of chaos. The more debate and discussion on who deserves the title game means more attention = more money.
To me, I think Oregon should be above Bama should Oregon win out (beat USC and win the Pac-12 title game). Bama won't even win it's division let alone it's conference.
Too bad Boise State had to lose....I think they might have really been able to have an argument to get in this year.

Florida is down 22-7 to ......... Furman. Now 22-14. Illinois is leading Wisconsin by 10 in the 3rd quarter, Auburn is only up 14-7 on Samford. Wow ..... could be another big upset weekend.

Nebraska's getting home jobbed at Michigan. Just saw one of the worst "roughing the kicker" penalties of all time. Why even have a "running into the kicker" penalty? He nicked the punters foot.

Ouch. I'm wondering how the OSU crowds going to be today with PSU coming to town. Hope it's not too ugly.

Anyone else hear Lee Corso drop an F-bomb on College Gameday? There's a video on Yahoo, but it's not censored so I can't post it here.
