My 40 plus years as a Browns fan are over. My number one team is the Baltimore Ravens. The team that we should be watching right now. They play tough and physical and draft well. Instead of hoping the Browns meet that criteria I will root for a team that already meets those standards. I gave up my tickets a year ago. I still have a piece of my chair from the old stadium. But enough is enough. No more of my money will go in Lerners pocket. People whine every year about the same things well instead of complaining I am doing something about it. Big Mike will never succeed here. And he won't because he is overweight. If he doesn't have enough discipline to take care of his body how can he run a team. Football should be full of fun and passion. The Browns are neither.
So let's go Ravens!!!

Have a nice life.
I would sooner put my own eyes out with a rusty screwdriver than become a Ravens fan .... but to each their own.

Good luck in your endeavors young man. How anyone can root for Lerners incarnation of the team is baffling.

The team was never this bad this many years in a row with Modell in charge. Sure the 70s were a lean time but it was never this hopeless. The Browns I grew up on moved to Baltimore as sad as it was. I will now start rooting for my childhood team. Rather than a team run by Bob LaMonte or whoever Holmgrens agent is.

me too.
I know it's frustrating I've been waiting a half century, but I don't get all of the expectations for this team, this year.
With a new Coach and new systems on both sides of the ball ... Why is that?

Browse away. Just don't expect any respect.
See ya. Adios. Sayonara. Adieu. Toodledoo. Later.
After 40 plus years, you probably have some Browns stuff you'll be getting rid of. PM me with pics and prices.

Now that's a post I agree with
At this point in my Browns Fan Career I have seen 2 winning seasons...in the last 40 years you got to see Bernie and the Cardaic kids...consider yourself lucky. I've got a 30 point blown playoff lead and a 10-6 season without playoffs.
My only hope are the Browns are really good one day so me and father can enjoy them together.
Go Browns!!

If you've got any Browns gear you want to get rid of, I'm your man! Gotta start prepping the man cave. Anything Arch doesn't want, since he asked first. Jumping ship for the Ravens? Sure, they only stole our team after having it happen to them. Not too many would allow that after knowing the feeling of losing a sports franchise (and it wasn't even close to as beloved as the Browns were/are). If those are the kinds of people you'd like to associate yourself with, be my guest. Heck, jumping ship for any team doesn't make sense to me. I was raised a Browns fan, and I'll probably die as one. Hopefully after a Super Bowl win or twelve. I'd rather not watch football then root for anyone else, even with how awful these last few years have been. Again, if you've got any vintage Browns gear you want to dump, hit me up.
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

What!?
That statement is beyond ridiculous. And the Ravens of all teams? Did you take your meds today?

Because he is a troll.
Actually, he has some posts that go back to 2009 and they appear to be pro-Browns.
All that does is make his original post that much more odd.
Well, Caldawg has a guardian angel. He just sent Joe along to make this post so that people can, somehow, forget about Cal's Fire Holmgren thread.
This place just keeps getting weirder and more surreal with each passing day.......

Hit the bricks, little man. If you are who you claim to be, you are the sorriest excuse for a fan I've ever heard of. My old man has been a fan for just as long as you, but isn't wavering in the least. And nice dig on overweight people with your ridiculous claim regarding Holmgren's fitness impacting the performance of the team. Boo to you.

Whatever... I've been a Browns fan for 40 plus years myself and that will only become 50 then God willing 60 and so on. If my mind ever left me and I actually considered doing what you're doing, I don't think I'd make a post about it, I'd just go, as you should.

I can't believe someone would admit in any public forum that they are not a Browns fan, they are a Modell fan.
Ravens fans are the lowest scum on earth. My analogy is a husband that has a wife that was raped, so he goes out and rapes another woman. S-C-U-M! I at least have some respect for Steelers and Bengals fans. Even Indy fans. Ravens fans, zero.
You should fit right in, Ms. Bandwagon.

Speaking of old Browns relics...my favorite is my Browns lunch box from the early 70's...all metal, but I'm not selling the lunch box.

It's a free country.....you can root for any team you choose.
If one can disown their children or disavow their parents, or terminate a marriage, I suppose it is easier to change their loyalty to a football team.
Have fun.
In the future I would expect to see any further communication directed towards the smack shack.

Haha...at least you didn't pick the Steelers. Even if I wanted to root for another team my heart would still be with the Browns. I would still see the scores and know inside who my favorite team is. Enjoy your purple shirt sellout.

Drop your sick dog off in the woods, leave your wife when she has cancer, abandon your children, refuse to pay child support, kick your elderly mother when she falls, support Penn state for the cover up, leave the Browns to root for the Ravens. Anything else on your wish list you want to tell us about?

That settles that. Ought to feel at home there with the RBurds. Were they outta towels? Did this decision require this announcement?
