Then what would you do?
I wouldn't marry a weak woman like that.. My wife would hire the attorney and the PI's for me,, if fact, I dare say that if I didn't fight, she'd make my life a living hell..
it's all about getting the right partner in life. I have the right one.
I suppose that you really don't know for sure until you get to that point though. It's like someone who is brave as hell about facing down an armed robber until that have a gun put to their head for real. Trust me on that one .... all bravery and courage goes right out the window when you feel a barrel of a gun against your skull.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

I think the Onion summarized it perfectly today (not sure if I can link to them on this forum, so I won't):

One of these days, a candidate will have the courage to say something like, "I have partied and slept around in my own private time, I have made some bad personal decisions in the past and here they are....itemized. They have nothing to do with my ability perform the job I'm running for. I'm not going to waste much time discussing them, now here are my plans."
And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. - John Muir

That would kinda blow the media out of the water. I just wonder if a guy who was that honest right off the bat would get to the upped tier of candidates or not.
He just might.

Maaaan.... I'll tell you what, Jfan: as a voter, I'd actually sit up and take notice of a candidate who began his/her campaign in such a manner. (S)he'd instantly make a connection with me (given some of the foolishness that lurks in my past), and would compel me to seriously listen, consider, and research. "Total Honesty" as a campaign ploy.... what a concept! I guaran-dam-tee it's never (really) been tried before. Dawg.... that's just crazy enough, it might actually work! If I'd make one (slight) adjustment to your delivery, it might be as follows: (note the bolded text in your quote... for the way I might spin it out): Quote:
One of these days, a candidate will have the courage to say something like, "I have partied and slept around in my own private time, I have made some bad personal decisions in the past and here they are....itemized. They have nothing to do with my ability perform the job I'm running for. I'm not going to waste much time discussing them, now here are my plans."
"I made some bad decisions in the past. Each of those youthful indiscretions are well-documented, and there for all to see. BUT- I also learned from those early bad decisions... and those choices presented me with challenges that forged a better person. Those 'life lessons' helped to shape me into the person I am now- someone who has earned the ability to perform the job I'm running for. They also taught me how to learn from mistakes... and how to be wiser in my decision-making when new circumstances confront me. My record since those days speaks for itself. Now- we can waste time discussing who I was, or we can spend time discussing my plans for this country's future. YOU get to choose how I spend OUR (precious) time. Tick tock, ladies and gentlemen. America's future awaits your next choice."

This whole thing is just another example of why everyone should be angry.
This person didn't bow out after losing several primaries.
And Why , or think about it, by the time Ohio has a primary it's all dwindled down to 1 or 2 options anyways. NOt just this 4 years, but every 4 years.
Do you think some farmer in Iowa or liberal in New Hampshire should have any more voice in the selection of the candidates than a citizen in the great state of Ohio, or most other states for that matter.
It's beyond representation. what government? They won't listen to the people, this whole process is a long drawn out act of I mean the fact that they drag this out for 2 or 3 years is a long drawn out act of disrespect for anyone with free ideas.

I'm not sure why I should be angry.. Or why YOU think I should be angry., what we have here is a high profile guy, getting some on the side and getting caught.
Anyone, and I mean anyone that runs for office should know that if they have a skeleton in thier closet, it will find it's way to daylight.
So, either fix your problem or don't run..

LOL for what it's worth, I asked my wife. I said, put me in cains shoes and put yourself in his wifes shoes... what would you want me to do.
Her answer didn't surprise me at all.. She said, if you wanna remain married to me, you damn well better prove that Biatch wrong and find out who's at the bottom of this,.... otherwise, I get the house
I married a smart, strong, tough and beautiful woman.. she's hard as nails and soft as a feather pillow all at once..
I'm truly a lucky man....
