I really hope I don't offend anyone with this statement, But,,, if she'd have kept her legs together, this wouldn't be an issue.

or,. if she really wanted all that sex, she could have used contraception of some kind.
This isn't anyones fault but her own.
and please, I'm not just blaming her,, there were men involved and it seems that they aren't exactly steppiing up.
I couldn't watch the whole thing either. I was disgusted.. But you can't say this is the norm,, I know there are others, but you can't point to this woman and say that every person in need of help is just like her. that would be terribly unfair and not true.

This is actually an OLD story, and that video has 4 or 5 news reports over the timeline of the story.
The initial story of her situation. Her getting thrown in jail for contempt of court. Her being released from jail, and update no the kids situation. Her sister speaking for her, and her brother apparently saying he's done and doesn't want to be involved.
And in the end she apparantly decided to give up her right to visit the children during the custody battle, and gave up her 2 youngest to the state,

First off I feel very sorry for the kids... they never asked for any of this and were brought into this world by some very irresponsible parents who I have a hard time believing had the means to care for 12 children...
the line about 'someone has to pay for all of this' made my blood boil... being someone who has struggled to have his own children it makes me sick seeing parents who are totally irresponsible (in a number of ways). I have a hard time believing that they were 'doing just fine' as she says they were... I'm sure with countless charities paying for her rent, food, and medical care it seemed like they were doing fine... but I have a real hard time believing that.
I just pray taht these children find good homes and can learn from this situation and not repeat it...

I agree, the whole story is interesting. The part that ticked me off the most was around the 10 minute mark where she was back in court for her and her sister cussing out the social worker during a visit. A social worker from the same agency that provided her and her litter a place to live and paid her rent.

This seems harsh. I don't think they will necessarily be dumb, just steeped in a self-perpetuating culture that has been conditioned to accept that this is their lot in life - i.e.; ignorant. And, like the saying goes: "stupid is forever, but ignorance can be fixed.".
Until the underclass realizes that their benefactor (the government) is really their prison warden, it will continue. In the meantime, there must be consequences for being on the public dole, at least in regards to aid to dependent children (ADC). Any individual applying for ADC - male or female - should have to submit to either tubal ligation or vasectomy before receiving government money for child care. Both are usually reversible, but while you are getting ADC, you cannot procreate. The generational chain of dependency has to be broken.
Having children that YOU personally cannot care for should be a crime.
You get ONE free pass after screwing that up and can get help...but after that...you forfeit your "right" to be an irresponsible jack wagon. Have a second child that you can't afford and you either get the IUD/vasectomy or go to jail.
Child abandonment...child endangerment...child abuse...all those apply when a person continually has children that they cannot take care of.
Not to mention people's circumstances can change; when they had the kids they might have been able to take care of them very well only to lose that ability through death or illness or other circumstances beyond their control.
