Because it now leaves it Sunday with a crappy assortment of games to watch.
Due to the way the games are televised and which network gets the game it forced the local affiliate forced to choose between the Falcons or the Titans, and I get the Falcons.
As a matter of fact, it wouldn't bother me if the Browns NEVER made a night telecast again (not counting a playoff 6PM start), be it Thursday, Sunday, or Monday.
For 25 years I got out of bed at 4:45 am to start my day, and I still get up at 4:45 am. By the time the night games kick-off, I am about ready to call it a day.
Just dump the night games, but for sure, dump the Thursdays. That's a joke.

I was actually glad because now I'll have an enjoyable care free Sunday watching the Red Zone channel and keeping up with my fantasy teams.
Nothing beats the Red Zone channel from 1 to 4.

I'm putting together my Christmas donation package for Goodwill ....... so today gives me time to do that. This year I am going to clean out all of the stuff that I was going to sell at a garage sale and just give it to them instead.
What the heck .... hopefully it'll do some good, and it will give me a write off to boot.

It's amazing how much ....... stuff ...... I have. I have 4 plastic bins of clothes in the basement that I never wear. They are all good stuff ...... but just stuff that never fit right, or that I didn't like once I wore it .... or stuff like that. I also have a lot of stuff that I have outgrown. I just need to clean out the clutter here. I have filled up too much space with stuff I will never use.

No kidding. I have been meaning to dump a bunch of stuff one way or the other.
It's amazing how much junk one can accumulate....good junk, but none the less, junk.
A good example is my treadmill. I paid $900 for it because I decided one Saturday afternoon I wanted it. I've probably walked 30 miles on the thing.
Unlike my 5 mile walks down at the river, which seem to fly by, walking just 1 mile on that thing is like watching the water to boil....it takes forever.
Add in telescopes, coffee makers, and just general stuff and I could fill a dumpster. Books....we don't even need to go there. I'll bet there is over 3000 lbs of the things in the house.

Quit sending those 30 years ago. I actually think you are doing people a favor when you can allow them to scratch you off their list.

They're going to have to send a truck to my house.
A big truck.

How were Sunday's games a crappy assortment? There were plenty of games that ended in the final seconds all of which were entertaining. At least with Thursday night games you can watch your team then go to a bar with some friends and not get worked up over another disappointing Browns loss and enjoy the rest of the NFL and for the most part quality football.

The Houston game was an excellent game that was exciting right up to the final seconds. (for everyone except Bengals fans, that is)

I painted my sons bedroom in Cavaliers colors, hung a ceiling fan, went to the liquor store for a party we are having next Saturday, cleaned out the guinea pig cage, played basketball with my son, soccer with my daughter, cleaned the refrigerator, finished the Christmas lights and generally had a very busy but enjoyable Sunday... for the first time in about 14 weeks.

I had guinea pigs when I was a kid. I love their little whistle when they are happy.

Sunday ticket. Several good games to watch yesterday, kept switching channels all day.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

How can you hate on Thursday's game when the Monday game (Seahags vs. Rams) is fraught with such nail biting suspense?
If there was ever a poster child game for floating schedule, this one is it.

Moving us from 1 to 4 wasnt THAT big of deal (was for some)
Moving a game from Sunday to Monday night?
Waaay too many potential hoops to jump through...
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

That's quite a list, grats...
Lets see, I repaired the exhaust bracket on the Mustang, Finished putting up the outside Christmas lights, put up the tree, wrapped some gifts, vacuumed the house (promised I would since her gifts are in the closet with the vacuum, so it's off-limits ), washed both cars, played some video games.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Sending the truck twice. Once you get rid of the first ton annahalf, then you can see more stuff you forgot. We have done well by Goodwill and church garage sales here. But you are my hero doing this during pigskin season!
