Isn't this just a rewording of Batman Begins?

Here's the newest trailer to Christopher Nolan's 3rd & final Bat-Film. Someone get Ammo a sedative . . .

I knew they filmed a bit in Pittsburgh and used Heinz Field for the Gotham Rogue's stadium, but I didn't think it'd be featured THIS extensive. I've been waiting for something like that to happen at Heinz Field for a while now . . .

You've been waiting for someone to blow up Heinz Field? Ok.

IMO, the movie looks a bit over the top (compared to what Nolan did with the first two). The first two were realistic style comic movies and this one looks very "Batman Forever".

The whole Catwoman angle is dumb and worthless. And Anne Hatthaway? Ugh.

Jumped the shark.

And this isn't coming from someone who disliked the first two movies. I really enjoyed #1 and #2 is probably the best comic movie of all time (and I'm a Spidey/Marvel guy).

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is probably on par with Michelle Pfiffer. And I especially liked Maggie Gyllenhall as the love interest in the previous movie. Ohh la la!

Other than the shoddy CGI in the football scene, I think it looks awesome.

OK, Bane is near impossible to understand and I hate the Occupy Gotham or whatever's going on, but other than all THAT, I think it looks awesome.

I have no problem, w/ Hathoway whatsoever. This would have to look 800 times more ridiculous and fluorescent to be even close to Batman Forever territory.

This should be a decent flick. I like Begins more than TDK, though.

I'll give it a chance, but it doesn't give me that good feeling.

I do too.

Heath's Joker was as good as it gets, but other than him that movie was WAY too long and over-bloated. It's like 2 movies in one. Better suited to be chopped up into an HBO miniseries or something . . .

The first two were wonderful, so I will give it a chance, but I agree some things look like they could ruin the series.

Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale give me enough hope and reason to watch this.

Actually, Bale does a great job as Bruce Wayne........but a HORRIBLE Batman. That "I'm trying to disguise my voice and be a real tough guy" voice is enough to ruin the whole movie. But I can get past it.

Yeah the voices bother me. Tom Hardy is a great actor but I worry about his voice for Bane.

Nolan says he won't change anything. The complaints have made the studio very concerned. I say something is done before it hits theaters. How can you have the main character played by a now A-List actor barely understandable?

Unless you're Dustin Hoffman in Dick Tracy . . .

I am in. Still serving popcorn, right? All BatFlix are long on looks and short on most everything else. And when non-Bats get to make movies it has some subtly wrong junque (Robin's nipples) that jangles fans. But I am in for the bucket matinee. And the Bales outing was one hard, fine edge.

Man, it's nice to see Pittsburgh being damaged!

Looks like a proper send off to Nolan's Bat-flicks . . .

I'm honestly not too excited...

I think it'll be good, but the combination of the peak that The Dark Knight hit, and the fact that they totally effed Bane up will probably lead to a "good movie"

How on earth did they "eff Bane up"? It looks like he's finally going to be true to the comic character.

People gotta expect the characters to fit into the real world w/ these Nolan bat-flicks. I'm surprised we got Scarecrow and Bane.

I never would have expected Bane to make it in looking like that w/ the mask and all. Cool beans . . .

I'm hoping people didn't expect him to be all enormous, ripped, and veiny like in the comics. It would look ridiculous on the big screen. Oh yeah, we already saw it in 'Batman and Robin.'

From what I heard, during a pres screening no one could understand what Tom Hardy was saying through the mask, so they had to go in and dub in all of the lines..

Honestly I'm just pissed they never used Clayface...

I've always felt that the only Batman villians worth talking about are Joker, who is probably the best villian of all time, and Two-Face. After that, booooooring. I know some people swear by Bane, but he never did anything for me.

Is Catwoman considered a villian....I guess so. Maybe she would be added to the list.

I was more of a Marvel reader growing up though.

Catwoman was more of a villain turned-anti-hero. She and Bats had chemistry . . .

If we're going to talk villains that should be in this, I'll say that they NEVER should have killed off Two-Face in the last one. . . Not sure what they were thinking there . . .

I was holding out hope that Dent never actually died in TDK, based on the fact that both he and Batman fell the same distance and Batman didn't die...

Maybe Gordon just put out that he was killed, and they locked him up in Arkham somewhere...

But I guess not...

Yes, in the movie he was. I didn't really like his character in the other stuff I saw (Batman Beyond?).

I love the whole idea of Two Face as a character ..... a guy who sees himself above mere morality, and who simply does whatever the coin tells him to do, and thus absolves himself of any blame and responsibility for his actions.

As someone who was always fascinated with the strange ways in which the mind can twist reality to suit its own wants and needs, he has always been very interesting to me.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

See No Country for Old Men. Creepy.

I've always viewed the Joker as a more compelling character. Nobody knows where he came from, what his real name is, what happened to his face (in TDK at least) and how he's just a pure evil person. Like how Alfred says in TDK, "some men just want to watch the world burn."

This scene always stuck out to me. The joker didn't care about money or material things, he just wanted to destroy everything.

Hence why Jack Nicholson can suck it...

And all the previous Batman movies, Tommy Lee Jones is cool and all, but Two-Face doesn't care about robbing banks...

I would have been perfectly fine with Jim Carey redoing the Riddler, he was perfect, not that it would have happened...

Scarecrow: It also helped that Cilian Murphy is freaking awesome..

Totally agree, I thought they nailed it in TDK with Heath Ledger as the Joker. Sucks that we will never see a follow up to his performance.

Mark Hamill does the voice of Joker perfectly on the cartoons and video games. Too bad he also said he was done as the voice of the "Clown Prince." He said he would reprise his role only if they made an adaptation of "The Killing Joker." Both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City he was masterful as the Joker.

I also agree with Bane, this movie will be a good portrayal of him without making him look Cheesy. They could of gone the CG route like Marvel did for the Thing and the Hulk but that just isn't in Christopher Nolan's vision for this trilogy. He didn't do that type of thing in the first two so why start now. Would have been nice if Ra's al Ghul would have been still alive and they did the story line of him (Bane) being the new heir apparent to the League of Assasins. Oh well, can't wait to see it.

I disagree with the 2nd line. I obviously am not saying I am happy he is dead, but the fact that there is just one masterful performance of him as the Joker just makes it that much better. I doubt a 2nd performance could have topped it.

To build on that, I think the fact that Ledger passed right after the movie was finished, not allowing him to do a million interviews about the role, added a mystique to it as well...

I hated the ending to No Country until a few days later when I realized it was perfect.

Love that movie. Anton Chigurh is one of the great villains of all time.

That's what I guessed he was talking about.

That's an epic movie. DDL just owns in that role . . . Next up, Lincoln . . .
