Quote: I don't really pimp many players, and when I do I am usually right, but I did want G Warren and was good with the Braylon Edwards pick.
It's hard to call Warren a bust since he's played about 15 years now, but no, he never had the impact i thought he would.
I was expecting another Joe Greene, Warren Sapp type player.
I can't believe he's still playing, but hey good for him.
As far as Braylon goes, hindsight is nice, but we were all fooled. He looked like a good physical receiver coming out of Michigan that had good speed and a great move. It just wasn't all there upstairs, and I don't think he ever took his job that seriously, hence the reason why he's jobless.
I can't fault the Browns or anyone else for thinking that was a solid pick because I think it was, it's just that the guy never grew up.
You see guys like Jason Taylor, Tony Gonzalez, Charles Woodson, even Hines Ward (puke) last forever in the league, because they take their job seriously, and they never stop pushing. I think Braylon still watches youtube clips of his highlight reel of circus catches from 2007.
