This was the survey on the front page on the Browns page. They were asking what the team needed in order not to get beat down like last week. I laughed when I read it and noticed there was not a choice for all of the above. I mean it's also funny that the browns page seems to know what to fix, but nothing is getting fixed. We can see it, apperently browns employeess can see it. I can only imagine that The remaining teams on the schedule see what we are lacking as well. <img src="/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif" alt="" />

Then perhaps somebody should ask the poll writers for the Browns page exactly HOW they would fix it in the middle of the season...

Because as I see it....

He has had more time this year than any year in recent memory, he also is supposed to have weapons to throw to....

We have a better pass rush, unfortunately we can't blitz because...

We are playing DBs 4, 5, and 6 on the original depth chart (except for the ones not even on the original depth chart).. can't blitz, can't put them on an island... you just have to try to struggle through.

How exactly do you fix this?

I think "play with more fire" is the nice way to say "all of the above"

Hey don't jump on me!! Way I see it all the options need fixed and that was why I thought it was bitterly funny. HOW to fix it is totally different. Mainly we just need better players. I love all the players for the Browns. Doens't mean I don't think some are over the hill or have never even been on a hill. The only one I can really see happening is "play with more fire". THAT they can do. I agree with all the injuries we aren't able to, protect the QB, Blitz, cover, run the ball, stop the run....oh a ton of things. I just hope they play harder than they played last week really. I was a homer who said we'd win 16 at the start of the season. I'm bummed we didnt' and we won't (this year) but I still love the Browns man. I do think we're better, I do think if we had all the injured players back we'd be much better record wise. I just want to see effort at this point. Oh yeah a win or two would be nice!!
