I wonder what ref # 2 found so offensive to the post reply I made here;

IMAGES IN POSTS ? Images in posts may not exceed 70KB or 200,000 pixels in size. Images of a pornographic, violent, blatantly offensive or otherwise disruptive nature are not permitted. It is understood that this standard is subjective, but it is subjective only to the interpretations of the moderators. Please bear in mind that the viewing audience may be of any age.

You posted not just one, but several pictures which were above the size limits allowed on the board. If you noticed you also had another image deleted in the same thread. It was also for deleted for being over the 70KB or 200,000 pixel limit.

I see and hear everything. Now where did I put my white cane, and my hearing aid?

Or did you presume they are dirty girls ?

Next time I'll just post the link instead of the full pic

( if they only had a brain )

then again,
I thought posting pics of 60's flower children ( where they are now ) was the issue

I felt afterwards that may have pushed buttons.

At least my Ozzie links ( then and now ) were not deleted

I don't think the Ref said they were pornographic, he simply cited the entire rule for you on images.

It's not the content that's objectionable, it's the SIZE of them. They're friggin huge.

I just clicked on the first one and it's almost 100K, you're not supposed to go over 70K. Read ALL of Ref'2's response to you.

Your first picture is over 92KB and over 231,000 pixels. The second one is over 121KB, the third one is over 77KB and over 274,000 pixels, the fourth one is over 83KB and over 233,000 pixels. Each and ever one of those is over the 70KB AND the 200,000 pixel limit

So, as I said in my previous post,
posting a link to a .jpg may be the way to go in the future ?

It would have helped if the reason for the deleted post was given in the thread it was deleted from

ie, [color:"yellow"] Post Deleted for pics eating bandwidth [/color]

Just like the old board, I reason is given when time permits, either in that post or in a PM. The best way to avoid the problem is to not break the rules

Using a link is also fine.

Or resize the image. Pictures can be uploaded/attached to a post, so you can resize and upload the pic.
