The team has said repeatedly that Pinkston will not be moved to Tackle, and that they like him at LG.
They also said that they like Lauvoa's ability to pull from the RG spot.
I honestly do not see any changes from LT to RG next year from last. I am almost 100% certain that we will see a new RT, especially with Pashos' injury and IIRC, surgery.

After losing out on RG3, im satisfied in keeping McCoy but we better after a good Tackle, Running back, and reciever
If McCoy was traded to any other team would you be fearful of playing against them?

I was thinking about this very thing this morning.
What team would trade their starting QB for Colt McCoy?
I can only come up with one who might ...... and that's Jacksonville. Even they might not, because they have a guy who was thrown into the fire as a rookie, and who gave them similar results as McCoy gave us.
I mean, one guy went 210 for 413 for 2214 yards, 12 TD, 11 INT, and 5.36 yards/pass attempt, and 25 passes of 20+ yards, and the other guy went 265-463 for 2733 yards, 14 TD 11 INT, 5.90 yards/pass attempt, and 26 pass plays of 20+ yards.
Not a great deal of difference there.

Matt Moore.
He won 6 games for Miami after Henne started out 0-4. he also threw 16 TD to 9 INT. (and ran for 2 more)

Currently Matt Moore.
Tentatively, Manning/Flynn..

Isn't Manning supposed to soon give a clear signal on where he might want to go??
And I would also think wherever he goes might become a team on the short list of any FA receivers.

I'm okay with this, but we need interior linemen too!
Lauvao played like garbage and Pinkston is a 5th rounder. Both got valuable experience, but Pinkston contributed more and made better strides, but he's more stiff than Lauvao.
See, I think our interior linemen will continue to improve. And I'm not sure moving Pinkston is a good idea.
RT is gonna have to be drafted, giving Pinkston some reps at the right tackle spot might be a good idea, but I think he's meant to be our replacement at LG for Steinbach (who I just don't think will be on the team next year). I think Lauvao who is stronger and more athletic, is a better spot for that RG mauler position. He's a better run blocker than people realize.
Lauvao pulls better than Pinkston, but he's mistake prone. Steinbach was a great pulling guard prior to his injury. DeCastro is the epitome of a pulling guard would be a great edition.
Personally, I'd try to get DeCastro and another RT in the draft. I like Nate Potter and Levy Adcock later in the draft.

Alex Mack had a down season, but I expect him to improve too. Keeping these two guys that he's familiar with next to him makes a ton of sense.
Both Mack & Thomas had down season because Steinbach was replaced by Pinkston. Pinkston's growth, such as it was, was due to being between Thomas and Mack.
Maybe I am too harsh on Lauvao though. There really was nothing to his right. A turnstile would have been more effective in slowing down the opposition.

The Skins will be buying up ALL the top FA's come Tuesday ( Monday night ?)
Snyder will out bid anyone and they are 40 mill under the cap. We "might" sign some left overs later in the week after those guys strike out with other teams.

They will be active no doubt about that.
Just FYI,
FA starts Tuesday @ 4pm EST, no more midnight crap (at least not this year).
The skins are 31.1 mill under. cincy leads all with 49.9 under. We are 17.4 under.
Additional note; Arizona is 16.4 OVER, if they would sign payton they better do some serious cleaning, house and/or contracts.
cappers
Statistics are like a bikini; what they show is interesting, but what they hide is vital. Drive for show (1st round), Putt for dough (rest of draft).

Yea I knew the "official" start date but Snyder always seems to get a head start Heck he had Haynesworth signed 3 minutes after Midnight a couple years ago.. How can you do a contract like that without doing all the prelims with his agent before he is really a FA ? You cheat... Didn't do him much good though..

Me, I'm tired of us spending good money for average QB Crap...Flynn is the hot name this year to waste your money on, Kolb was last year and Jason Campbell where are both of them now...Kolb praying Arizona dosent sign Manning and Campbell looking for his 5th team in 6 years, lets stay away from these guys, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but something tells me these guys are not gonna lead us to any Super Bowl anytime soon...Lets save some money, use our draft picks wisely, get Colt some Ammo on Offense, and give him one more year is he dosent do it this year, I'll be the first in line for that Barkley wagon next draft,

or you offer Haynesworth the contract he did and after it takes him 3 minutes to recover, he is saying yes with a huge grin on his face and shaking your hand so hard that your arm is falling off
(i agree that he cheats, but i think most teams do)

Giants: $3.8 million over.
Texans: $4.7 million over.
Panthers: $5.3 million over.
Raiders: $7.4 million over.
Lions: $11.5 million over.
Cardinals: $16.4 million over.
Unless these numbers are really inaccurate, there are going to be some heavy cuts in the next 24-ish hours. I suppose a bit of it will be mitigated by amounts of cap space that these teams are rolling forward from last year... but still.... those are some big numbers for Oakland, Detroit, & Arizona.
Browns is the Browns

yeah, it seems strange that those are still setup that way. I've seen the reports of how the Giants are going to get under the cap, but haven't seen much from places like AZ. i would have guessed that teams were already slashing to get under the cap.
and why is AZ still in play for Peyton if that is their cap number and their OL is a mess? you would think that he'd rather to go Denver with a solid OL and a ton of cap space to go get him a couple weapons too.

The cards have to purge that 16 million before FA starts, then they have to worry about how to pay Manning. Since I read that Manning isn't going to make a decision before FA starts its going to be interesting to see what they do with Kolb.

I have a feeling the Cards will keep Kolb. As much as they may like Manning, with all that salary cap room they have to clear and having no guarantees that he will go there, it wouldn't make much sense for them to cut Kolb without knowing who else is there.
Now, if they have faith in Skelton, ok, maybe.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Looks like I can cross another guy off my list . . . 49ers working to re-sign free agent receiver Morgan Posted by Evan Silva on March 11, 2012, 4:48 PM EDT Two sources tell the Sacramento Bee that the 49ers are making a “strong push” to re-sign wide receiver Josh Morgan in advance of Tuesday’s free agency commencement. Morgan has been with the team since 2008. Though Morgan has totaled only 1,764 yards and nine touchdowns across four NFL seasons, the Niners think more highly of the 26-year-old than his stats indicate. Specifically, according to the Bee’s Matt Barrows, the 49ers view Morgan’s production “more as an indication of the 49ers’ lackluster passing attacks” than his ability. Morgan is a well-built 6-foot and 219 pounds, and he’s considered a strong blocking receiver. Morgan ran a 4.47 forty-yard dash coming out of Virginia Tech and has flashed the ability to stretch defenses vertically as well as rack up yards after the catch. Some speculation and reports have connected Morgan to the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he’d have no trouble cracking the starting lineup. But the Niners want Morgan back to be their No. 2, lining up opposite Michael Crabtree.

I think all the Cardinals have to do is cut Levi Brown to get under.

I am all for it. We need to get somebody.
We bungled the deal on RGIII. I hope we now aren't planning on sitting on the sidelines while other teams get better.
I don't have much hope we will. I suspect we'll dink around and get beat out on Hillis by a few thousand bucks and screw around until a week or two from now we'll manage to bring over a few scrubs from the Eagles Heckert had a hand in drafting 3-4 years ago. Probably some slow clod offensive lineman he thinks is going to be our clear upgrade on the right side. As for a receiver, I think Heck is very comfortable with the stable we have.

We didn't bungle anything. Each team was asked to offer their best package. We offered three first round picks. Washington offered three first round picks and a second round pick. We weren't given the chance to match that offer. That is not bungled. That is being outbid.
