Hello Guys!

This is my first major post on the forum so I’d just like to introduce myself. Basically my names Steve and I’m 16 from Liverpool, England.

I was a die-hard Evertonian up until a couple of years ago but then a friend introduced me to the NFL. Since that day I’ve become a football fanatic and I now love the sport Soccer.

My Dad was big a Browns fan back in the early 80’s/late 90’s so I was naturally attracted to the Brownies! Unfortunately he lost interest when they moved to Baltimore.

Hope to have some have some great NFL chat with you guys.

O-Line

I’m not a fast-food fan but I’ve not seen them advertised anywhere.

Quick question: How many Brits regularly post on this forum?

Not a huge number, but there are a couple... and a few Aussies too.

Welcome and yes as already stated the Browns didn't move to Baltimore. We retained our colors, our history and our name.

As for our friends across the pond who post we have a few. There are also some we don't see often anymore but they still meet somewhere in London. They're known as the British BullDawg Browns Backers. A few have made the trip over for a couple of games and tailgating.

One of our Aussies is actually from Wales and has been transplanted. We also have one Browns fan from up North somewherewho moved here and is living in one of the cold states, Wisconsin I think it is. So you've found a good home. Once again welcome.

Welcome Steve! Its good to see another Brit on the board.

I have been a member since this board started, and a long time member on the previous Dawgtalk. I have followed the Browns since the mid 80's, and recently through the thin and the thinner ....... I have real hope and faith that we are now moving in the right direction.

Although I don't post a huge amount I read the board almost every day. As you will no doubt find there are some very astute, and alot of very good people on this board, and you should learn a great deal.

As for the Aussie poster that PPE mentioned he goes by the name of Riddler - You will note a rather curious signature on his posts in the near future. We had a sig bet on the 6 nations and with him being born in Wales he couldn't resist

We also have EnglishDawg from somewhere your way. Haven't seen him since the season ended though.

Thanks for the info! Shame about the Welsh performances in the six nations though.

I made a mistake in my first post, which isn’t the best way to start! I’m ill at the moment so at least I’ve got an excuse!

Again I must say thanks for the welcome guys. I can defiantly call this forum my new home.

Welcome.. I'm confused by your name though.. "O-Line"? What is that? We Browns fans know nothing of this "O-Line" that you speak of.... In fact, I don't think most of us have ever seen one.....

Some of us oldtimers have a vague memory of a great one. If only I had known what I was watching then

Welcome and UP WITH THE GUNNERS!!!!

Since Randy Lerner bought the villains you will find a few aston fans on here.I think I am the only Arsenal fan here. We had quite a few villa fans on the orginal Dawg Talk but when that board went to hell and we all came here most of them stayed over there.

I had to share a steve Everitt story b/c of someone mentioning him. His second year as a brown I went to watch a metal band play the Agora. (I think it was Pantera) I was in the pit having a good time and when I went to the sidelines to take a break some bonehead sent me flying when all I was trying to do was get out of the pit for a second and rest. Well I didn't like it, and I turned around and punched the person who sent me flying square in the jaw (I have since matured! ). The guy didn't flinch. I saw how big he was (really not as big as I would have imagined) and how little affect the punch had, and.....ran away into the pit. After the show I saw the guy standing with some hells angel/biker looking crowd. I realized that it was Steve-freeking-Everitt. I couldn't resist saying hello. I went up to him, and he says "I remember you from the show". Just as I was getting ready to be beat up by one of my heros.......he grabbed a beer from one of the Angels and told me not to worry about it b/c as he said "I guess I shouldn't have pushed you". And we ended up having something like 4 beers. It was AWESOME. (and he said Belichoke would be super po'd if he know he was at a metal show at the Agora!. Anyway thought I'd share.
