I got this from my husband this morning: This morning on 271, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a brand new Cadillac going about 90. With her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. I looked away for a couple seconds...to continue shaving and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup. As a man, I don't scare easily. but she scared me so much; I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the doughnut out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my cell phone away from my ear which fell into the coffee between my legs! Splashed, and burned my twig and berries, ruined the damn phone, soaked my pants, and disconnected an important call. Damn women drivers! __________________________

Note: Woman distracted by one thing, out of control and drifting out of her lane. Man distracted by several things and maintains control, until finally upset by proximity of woman driver .. but maintains control of vehicle.

I remember several years ago, when I worked in Kent, I was on the freeway on my way to work. It was a somewhat slippery day ....... so i was being careful as I made my commute. A car flew by me, and I could see the driver, a woman, applying her makeup while she drove by at what seemed to be 90 or so. I said, out loud, that's an accident waiting to happen. Well, sure enough, when she reached the next big curve where 3 freeways intersect, she must have lost control, because there she was, down in a huge ravine between 2 of the highways, here and her friend standing outside of the car ....... crashed. I saw a lot making that drive every day for 12 years. I saw people actually reading the newspaper, with it folded out over the steering wheel. I saw people having sex once.  I have seen actual fistfights in a car between driver and passenger ...... I saw a car make a right hand turn into a guardrail for no reason whatsoever ....... Yeah, there are a lot of people who have no business driving.

Just wait til they have optional toilets in the drivers seat. Imagine the looks on people you'll see driving down the road.

My philosophy is: There are some people who can text, talk on the phone, eat, etc. while driving and still be good safe drivers. You are not one of them.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Well, truth be told, I did that once too ....... but it was in a residential neighborhood at 4:30 am ........

Wait a second, how can someone make a right hand turn into a guard rail? I would have loved to see that one. That sounds absolutely hilarious. I didn't even know that was possible...

It was one of those guard rails that is right before an overpass, one that curves around then goes straight along the roadway. (I don't know how else to describe it)
This car literally turned right into it. Busted the posts right in half. The guy was lucky that he didn't wind up down on the lower road/underpass.
Scary thing is that the guy walked right away from his car. (I stopped and called 911)
