ah, sorry. I was checking the "who's online" a lot last night... had I seen you on I probably would have put Top's pick up there with the PM that said that was who he was trying to trade up to 10 for.

No apology needed. I would have preferred to trade the pick, so the extra time was ok with me... And, I was on and off, so it'd have to have been good timing

Cowboys select - Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
The Cowboys need secondary help, but there isn't great value here. Melvin Ingram was thought about long and hard, but they frachised Anthony Spencer. The Cowboys could use d-line help, and while they have Jay Ratliff, he could shift to DE to make room for the physical freak Dontari Poe at NT. Just too much talent to pass up.

I think Frenchy works late... like at a restaurant or a bar or something. He usually logs on late like 2 or 3 IIRC.

The Jets need a big physical WR that can run. But Floyd and Blackmon are gone. The Jets are in need of that threat off the edge in their complex scheme on defense.
The Jets select
Courtney Upshaw OLB U. of Alabama.

The Bengals go BPA, and ends up getting a defensive juggernaut in Melvi¸ Ingram, a DE out of South Carolina. Now way should the best DE have fallen that far. They get a steal. Teams with great defensive fronts become playoff contenders on a year to year basis. The Bengals are looking to make some noise in the AFC North. Quote:

if nobody wants Tenn, I'll pick when they come up - or we can do a concensus like we did last year - first player with 2 or 3 votes is Tenn's pick.

OK, clock will start tomorrow at 9 eastern as planned unless there are any objections. Also, I think at that time we should either let people double as they requested before or do a consensus vote. I think if we have people with two teams, they cannot trade between their two teams. Also, I don't think if we got consensus route that anyone should be allowed to trade with a "consensus" team.
If we do let people double up, these are the folks who asked for a second team in order:
Clay -> Packers Kendall -> Ravens (original team) clwb -> Tennesse THROW LONG -> How do you feel about picking for the Giants?
So what does everyone think? Allow people to double up? Or Consensus vote like we did last year after people started dropping out/timing out? How many votes to pick the player? First to three? First to two?

So I can pick for the Giants, I'll go read up on their needs. There's got to be a 7 best players still on the board.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

With the 19th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select OT Jonathan Martin, Stanford.
Simply trying to keep Cutler clean. With the OL slide that had ensued, this made it even simpler. Just think there's better value in round two at the WR spot than here. Cutler needs more help, and I don't think they'll be done with just adding Brandon Marshall, but a sure thing like Martin in the trenches here with the high upside guys still to be had later, I do this. Cutler's elite, he just has to stay together physically. They're finally over the price they paid to get him in the first place. Very dangerous, close team.
Politicians are puppets, y'all. Let's get Geppetto!

The Bengals look to add an extra threat to their offense by adding WR Kendall Wright from Baylor. Wright will add an extra piece to the offensive puzzle as they look to stretch the field even more and keep opposing defenses guessing. Quote:

We have to be coming up on the 3 hours. I'll throw out a few player's names (in alphabetical order) that the Browns might consider here. CleveSteve - first to 2 or 3 votes is the pick?
Andre Branch, DE Coby Fleener, TE Janoris Jenkins, CB Mark Barron, S Mike Adams, OT Nick Perry, DE Stephen Hill, WR Stephon Gilmore, CB
My vote would be for Stephen Hill.

He was taken by Jacksonville at 7.

I'd prefer Sanu, but to avoid the Stephen Hill debacle, I will vote this way if we got to a consensus vote.
Vote: Michael Floyd

I vote to give DawgmaninCharlotte until 7 pm. I thought the vote picks would only go to the need Gm teams like Washingtons 2nd rounder.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
