With the Browns pick we chose Kevin Zeither G Wisconsin ( with pashos gone and Steinbach gone the browns need to sure up the Guard Position)
man, you sure kicked the Hornets nest here. I like Zeitler alot. considered him for the Panthers pick because they do need an OG, but just didn't see the value in OG when they also needed RT and Osemele was still on the board.
then, you combine that with going Randle when a good portion of the board prefers other WRs, you had to figure there'd be some backlash. that's what you get by picking the home team for this thing. thankless task and a reason why it was open to pick
saying you were picking for need over BPA considerations was just the cherry on top

Personally, I love that DMIC is picking players that aren't seen as targets. When we draft they almost never pick who I would have, so this year I'll be prepared.
Love it.

I think Kevin Zeitler is a really good pick, had him targeted. That will settle it for most of the board, they'll know now for sure he's overrated. But I'm saying he's a solid pick, at some point. Probably would have sought a pure Tackle if I were the Browns though.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

that's true and we move around so much too that we end up in spots in the draft we haven't focused on too (like last year at the end of the 1st with Phil Taylor)

*Tooting my own horn*
Last year there was some sort of "contest" where people picked like ten guys who they thought we might draft. I "won" because I selected Greg Little and Jabal Sheard.

that's up to you guys. I don't like making picks for other people, especially since we're halfway through the second round and it's still March.

Sorry Guys, I just can't look at this draft and think it would go anything like this. Randle and Zeitler..really?

Our expectations are now low for the real draft. If we get anything more than Randle and Zeitler then everyone will be very happy. Right? Right!?!?

Seems like there was not a whole lot of thought put into it like it was done on a whim. The 40th and 58th ranked players at 22 and 37 and one being in a position that isn't a priority compared to the other gaping holes. That would be a bad day for Browns fans everywhere and they couldn't sell that if they tried to this fan base.

If you guys pick for Dallas, here's what urbrowns said last pick when he went DL. Quote:
Cowboys select - Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
The Cowboys need secondary help, but there isn't great value here. Melvin Ingram was thought about long and hard, but they frachised Anthony Spencer. The Cowboys could use d-line help, and while they have Jay Ratliff, he could shift to DE to make room for the physical freak Dontari Poe at NT. Just too much talent to pass up.
Boykin, Hosley, Josh Robinson, George Iloka, Harrison Smith, Jameel Fleming are probably the highest rated DBs available here. I don't necessarily agree with all of them, but looking around the web those seem to be the ones that pop up in this range.

Maybe it's the same as our representatives not knowing what our needs are..

And then picked someone at a position we don't need.
He must've been going best player available on that one.

Vont aze? Bur, fict? , Vontaze Burfict? Wait, no, I'm hoping he slides through to the 4th round. Besides he wouldn't go defense two stragith picks.

exactly. and knowing Jerry, America's Team needs a player from OU, UTx, Arkie or LSU. Maybe even an A&M, Baylor, TCU or Mizzou guy just to mix things up from time to time. Gotta fill Jerryworld afterall.

Dallas signed Brandon Carr to fill the CB hole. Could go CB here for depth or S to complete the backfield. Couple guys on my board would be:
Alfonzo Dennard CB 5'10" 203 Nebraska Trumaine Johnson CB/S 6'2" 205 Montana
If you want to go interior O-line, I would say Brandon Brooks is the best option. TE to replace Bennett would be Dwayne Allen. Dallas loves the 2 TE sets.
I think Dennard is the best player available at a position of need though.

Sorry guys! I was on a plane, and counted on using the in-flight WiFi, but it didn't work! The Cowboys select: Brandon Boykin, CB, Georgia They could always use DB help, and poor safety value. Again, sorry for the long delay!

Seems like last year we got through round 3 before it started to die. On that note I don't want to vote on who the Cowboys take, as I have the next pick, but I think it is about time we make the pick.

their last pick was Courtney Upshaw.
Looks like they could use a wideout to put opposite Holmes.
Needs IMO: WR, OG, DE, S (only L. Landry and Eric Smith on roster)

If I'm the Jets I'd pick Lamar Miller RB. LT is old, Shonn Green isn't that good and is also getting old.
