It's not to try and take anything away from him (honestly I hate the Bulls but I love Rose, I wish more NBA guys were like him)

I think highest we can get odds wise is 4, looking at the records, unless we lose out basically, even then it'd be difficult...

odds are similar enough as long as we don't break out of the bottom5, i'll take our chances on getting a top3 pick

I'll tell you what I really like .......

The bottom of the roster keeps getting better during the season.

You really only build the top of the team in the off-season unless you get one of those blockbuster trades. You aren't going to find tons of great players out of nowhere during the season.

Looking at the bottom of the roster going into next season, I can't see many teams who will be able to match our 2nd team. Obviously we have to continue to build the first team depth, but if we manage to add a couple of high end players, and get Varejao back healthy, this team could make a big impact as soon as next year.

PG: Obviously Irving is here, and I think Sloan has played well enough that we'll try to find somewhere to dump Boobie off finally...

SG: *cough*MKG*cough* ...I mean, is Parker going to be here next year? I'm surprised he's still here THIS year... Hudson seems like a nice energy guy off the bench...

SF: Gee is currently our best SF, which is a problem, he'd be a great backup SF if we get someone likes Barnes. Can we get rid of Casspi? Please? I've never been this disappointed in someone we've acquired, seriously..

PF: Unless Antawn takes a huge paycut (which I REALLY hope he doesn't) he's also gone, so I can finally stop calling him "Antawn's Expiring Contract" and Hopefully TT can move back to PF when Andy comes back (or other people) and I dunno, learn to play offense...

C: Andy's our guy for now, Hollins literally had ONE good game that I recall (Dec vs. Miami) the entire time he was here, and I haven't seen alot of Erden, still wish we had grabbed the rights to Valanciunas... But will be fine that we didn't when we win the lottery and get Anthony Davis

Tough loss last night. New Orleans was up on the Lakers and lost at the end. A NO win would have brought them to within 2 games of us and a Lakers loss would have improved our second first round pick position.

I have so much more of a rooting interest in the NBA now that we're definitely out of the playoff picture.

ugh, just did it 10 times, Sac. got #1 5 times, we picked Barnes 6th, 7th, or 8th eight times. Only picked #4 once.

He has Lamb ranked really low for some reason ... (I've seen other mocks that at one point had Lamb ranked even better than Beal). Other than that, who would we take? I guess Barnes, as he's a SF. Would we take Thomas Robinson or Moultrie at PF? One of the Zeller kids at C? As under-acheiving as Drummond has been, he's still a monster prospect because of his size.

I know. I just don't like "monster" size players who don't seem to know what to do with that size at all.

I do like Jeremy Lamb quite a bit. He's rail thin and will have huge problems on defense in the NBA until he fills out though.

Barnes, Zeller, Robinson - Any of those three would be a nightmare for me.

Hasn't Barnes been as underachieving as Drummond? I don't really follow college ball that closely. I don't really want another PF, and PG is definitely out of the question. That leaves Drummond or Lamb. I wouldn't be crushed if we take Drummond, as we do have a need for a big powerful center ... we would just have to hope he turns into a Shaq as opposed to a Thabeet.
