Why didn't they just have us play Minnesota instead of Philly??

We play the rest of the NFCN, why not that last team? Silly wabbits.

I disagree, I don't think the Lions are going to the Super Bowl next season.

TBA Cleveland at Detroit
TBA Cleveland at Green Bay
TBA Philadelphia at Cleveland
TBA Chicago at Cleveland

Predictions:

Colt McCoy comes out of the gates and has a Brady Quinn style first half against Detroit (cause it's Detroit) everyone is excited...

After a windy day in Green Bay, the magic of colt's game against Detroit wears off and everyone sinks back down a bit...

Colt plays the entire half against Philly and is effective, leading two touchdown drives, but also throws a REALLY bad interception...

Colt doesn't play the final preseason game, Late round draft pick comes in the second half and lights up Chicago's 8th stringers...

Conclusions:

We still don't know what we have with Colt. Browns fans have a new QB to root for instead of the starter...

Speaking of schedule.....It was going to be released the week before the draft.

It's no longer a big deal as my schedule isn't filled 3 months out and filling 5 months out, but as a person who likes to plan, I want the schedule. Hotels to book and restaurant reservations to fill.

Lot's of questions at this point. I like knowing the who, what, when, and where's.

I'm pretty sure whoever does the scheduling for the Ohio National Guard hates football...

The passed two years I've had drill on both Opening weekends, 3 of the 4 Steelers weekends, and both SuperBowls...

We had drill the weekend we destroyed New England, unbeknownst to me my Unit sent people TO THAT GAME to do the flag ceremony stuff or whatever... I wasn't apart of that vote on who went...

Instead I got to ride a lawnmower around the armory to pick up leaves while checking my phone for the score every 5 minutes...

I'm hoping to play the Giants either directly before or after Thanksgiving.

I'd be able to take my daughter to the Macy's parade and catch a game in NYC.

Cool beans....we did that one year from here. It was great to sit in your room with room service, watching the parade.

Count the dollars later and you will actually enjoy the parade.

And we should win that game, too, as we've beaten the reigning super bowl champ every year since 2008!

The Bears again? They really should schedule someone else.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

In case anyone was wondering who we're playing next year:

Cleveland Browns
Home: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins

Away: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants

It's almost the time of year that they release the schedule.
My first thought is away vs Indy Luck, and away vs Denver, Peyton Manning, at least he didn't beat the Browns last year.
Maybe they'll be back to back road games in a 3 game road trip.

If I want to predict the schedule, think of the least advantageous for the Browns and that's exactly what we'll get.
Who would be the worst 2 teams to end with, besides the obligatory at Baltimore at Pittsburgh, back to back.

Look guys, team are cutting back on off season travel. The teams we play now are teams we will probably play well in to the future. It's about cost, and who really cares who we play in pre-season?

It also makes sense to run back to back home games or back to back away games. It costs a bunch of money to transport the gear. The game gear used in Detroit as an example isn't going to be trucked to Cleveland for a day or two, only to be then shipped back to Green Bay. After the game the team heads back home to Cleveland and the travel gear is heading to Green Bay to be cleaned and wait in a secured location for the players return.

At this point, I think I'd be alright with having those two on the road to close it out. I'm beyond tired of Pittsburgh at home to close out the year... it would clearly be different if we had a team that was playing for something at the end, but not having that and getting kicked in the head by them pretty routinely and dealing with 30-40,000 Steelers fans in my stadium is beyond old.

I'd like to play them at home within the first month. Have the last home game be against San Diego or KC or someone like that the week before Christmas and I'd be good this year.

I could see them throwing that on as one of the earlier TNF games, Hillis comes back to Cleveland in Prime Time!

Well, I still get excited for those. Gameday is gameday.

I might be ticked by halftime and wonder why I thought it was a good idea to head up to Cleveland for the game, dropping at minimum $400 per trip, not counting tickets, or start thinking about asking for my check the weeks I don't go up or the team is playing away, but I still wake up on Sundays as excited as when I was 12 for the kickoff.

I can say there have been a lot of things that have come and gone in my life, but the Browns are the one constant passion, fad, hobby, whatever it is you want to call it, they have been there since I was old enough to read and will be there until I can no longer breathe or no longer think.
