He was just a fill in while Parker was out.
He's a nice scorer but he's too small to play shooting guard and he doesn't handle the ball well enough to play point.

Like I said though, a team getting blow out by 40 can use a scorer.
I guess we're in almost complete tank mode. The only evidence that we aren't is that Irving is back.

as I showed, he was not efficient in his scoring. anyone can just chuck the ball up a bunch of times, he was a shorter version of Jamison (actually not fair to Jamison who is more efficient than Hudson)

Assuming NO hangs on to win in OT we are guaranteed a tie for the third worst record (if we lose the rest).
I think we beat Washington though, so I've got us finishing with 21 wins. I'm quite satisfied with the quality of the first 5 or 6 on the board this year. It looks like we are in prime position to pick one of them up. The only guy I'm sour on is Drummond.
If we somehow get Anthony Davis you think we get above .500?

Stern must have already promised New Orleans the first pick. Otherwise, I don't get their sudden aversion to tanking. Seriously though, if our boys do their jobs and blow every last game, NO could beat Golden State, who are blatantly tanking, and Sacramento could beat Charlotte, despite their best efforts, we'd be alone in third. If only the lakers would have traded bynum for howard, we'd be in great shape for our second pick as well.

I know. We've got to find some better (worse) d leaguers. Harangody, Hudson - these guys didn't' realize we were playing them to lose. Either that, or play Jamison for 48 minutes.

Yep. The only possible threat to Miami before the playoffs is Boston playing out of their minds. OKC, the Spurs, and maybe the Lakers are our only hopes.

Man, Miami was doing all kinds of crap last night. James Jones' flagrant 2 on Noah. Wade shoving Rip Hamilton out of bounds. Lebron dropping his shoulder into John Lucas' head on a screen, shoving him when Lucas got in his face, and then telling the ref "he hit me in the chin, what was I supposed to do?".

While the healing of his fracture has progressed well, his full recovery is not complete and he is still experiencing some soreness in the wrist. Atlanta has some good players. Joe Johnson is solid, Josh Smith is good , Al Horford is solid and I like Teague.
They will never win a title though.

the other team in the West that could give the Heat a huge problem is the Grizzlies. Injuries have killed them this season, but if Zach Randolph is even 75% of what he was last year in the playoffs, then they have all the necessary pieces.
Plus, they have Tony Allen, Gay, and Gasol to defend the Heat's 3. And a dynamic bench to keep waves coming (not as important in the postseason, but we all know from the 2 Celtics series that it does matter).
And, they get their preferred route to the Finals if it holds up as current:
Clippers -> Spurs -> Thunder
It's a tough road, but they all are and those are the teams they match up with best.

...btw, Ron Artest should be suspended at least 10 games for that "accidental elbow" on Harden yesterday. I would be happy if he was suspended for the entire playoffs.

Saw the replay, I don't know how anyone can say that was an accident. He bumped Harden first, and then shot his elbow out, so he knew there was somebody there.
It's unacceptable, and he should sit the rest of this season including the playoffs.

Yeah exactly. Watching the replay, he's shoulder to shoulder with the guy, with him in front of him. He's not looking the other direction, so he HAD to know he was there. And then he just rears back and fires an elbow directly at his head. The amount he pulled his elbow back and the fact that he was leaning into his body when he started doing it ... no way that was just an accidental celebration, that Harden was on the wrong end of. I was also thinking MAYBE he was just trying to elbow him out of the way as if he was just trying to get past him ... but you see the replay and he moves his elbow upwards towards Harden's head. Not sure how he can explain that away as incidental.
