I like Kalil, but I think we have a ton of money invested in Thomas. On top of having #22, I think you have to pass on him.

In years past, I would have agreed with this.

But with the new rookie scale, you're not going to be giving Kalil a $45 million contract.

I think you can definitely afford to take Kalil if he falls to us at 4.

My board (of guys who actually might be there at 4) would go ...

1. Claiborne
2a. Blackmon
2b. Kalil

If Claiborne is off the board, I'm not going to be disappointed with either Blackmon or Kalil.

If we want Richardson, I think we can trade back and get him. I don't mind Richardson, but if that's who we want, I want to trade back.

Am I the only person that pronounces Weedon like Wheedon?

Like the Wheat Thins commercial.

I am going to facepalm myself if we get that botard.

I dunno man, I'm not buying that TB is going to trade up for T-Rich, but I am buying that they would most definitely take him if we pass.

Even with the fact that RB's have the shortest prime of football players, if he pans out, has a superstar-like career, and 7 or 8 years from now we're going to be wanting his replacement, we won't have any regrets about taking him. The future of this team isn't all on this pick, so I think as long as you get someone that is going to be great, you're moving right along on this path back to being relevant again.

Plus I think he helps Colt, which should help us evaluate some of these receivers we have. If Richardson is awesome, that means Colt will be better, which means we will find out how good Greg Little and Norwood and some of these other guys are (I've pretty much given up on Mo Mass)

Too many Browns fans are worried about 10 years from now.

Slacker.
