Man, I know you are joking, but maybe you should have added a smile with that as to not give people serious heart burn.
That would have removed the reason for the post.

He's the guy I figured we wanted. I like Claiborne better because of position value ( think they are the best two players in the draft), but understand why they went with Trent. He is the player that will have the most immediate impact.
So overall I have zero problem with this trade. I do think it eliminates the Tannyhill and Weeden talk......which is a silver lining for me.

Stupid. This is a KW3 trade all over again. Sit and take the player that comes to you.....don't fall for the trade up scam. Ugh.
And a 3rd? We could have picked a decent player there.
AWFUL!
----EDIT: Ok, not a 3rd. But I still say it was a mistake. Stay at 4 and take Claiborne if someone takes Richardson. Who cares....find a RB later on.

I wouldn't be surprised if we looked to move up from #37 if Weeden slips to the 2nd round.

NFL Network has it OFFICIALLY 3 and 4 swap Minnesota gets Cleveland 4th (118) Cleveland 5th ( 139) AND CLEVELAND 7TH ( 211)
I love the move still have 10 picks and still can trade up from 22 or trade the 37 pick to get back into the first round again 3 first round picks intrigue me!!!

This move was obviously made because someone else was looking to move up to 3 to grab TR who we must view as the BPA. I never like giving up picks but I think this was a good move. I just hope we didn't bite on Minny's bluff.
Either way, we didn't give up THAT MUCH especially the Atlanta 4th which is not the higher (or lower depending on how you look at it) of the 2.

Nicely done.
I would have been really teed off if we had lost out on Richardson after blowing the chance to get RG3.
Sooner or later you need great players, and Richardson is a great player.

Bad move... we lost picks that we could of used to move back into the 2nd or 3rd. I like Richardson but i was skeptical of taking him at 4 and definitely didnt want to trade up to 3 to get him.

Bingo.
SOOOO happy they pulled the trigger if they really believed he was the BPA.
Given the Browns had so many picks, no reason to lose your guy for a 4th and some throw ins.

I disagree. We still have plenty of picks to trade if we choose to.
Plus, Trent Richardson is the real deal. It was worth assuring we got him.

So you are saying Hillis is in the same league as Richardson?
Richardson will be better day 1, than Hillis will ever be. imo

Richardson > Hillis and it's not even close...
Plus we offered Hillis more money, he didn't wanna be here...

Well, as much as I didn't want to trade up, I feel better going into the season with Richardson than having flaky Hillis back. So I think we got better at this position in the offseason.

I'm ok with the move. Had extra picks in those rounds and they get the guy they wanted. Can't really complain about that. Wonder how Chuck Booms is going to negatively spin this tomorrow morning.

As I pointed out this morning...if the Browns wanted Richardson they were going to have to give up something...turns out they did want Richardson in a Browns uni and did what it took.
Not sure what was given up for sure...PFT has one report and some are NFL has us giving up somthing else.
Whatever...WELCOME TO CLEVELAND, Mr RICHARDSON

Since the 2 QBs are gone, I feel better with Richardson as the pick that I would have felt that with any other player we could have taken. I'm ecstatic. Plus we still have 22 to go today!
