There was some pretty good WR's on the board we just passed on.

There's a pretty big hole on the line we just filled too.

True enough and a serious need but our shiny new QB has to throw it to someone and momass and cribbs are not it.

Well we both know that is not saying much but for the Browns to finally address that right side of the line is huge!

I thought schwartz was rated the 5th or 6th best tackle in the draft?

was there a run on OT's?

Obviously it's subjective but NFL.com had 7 currently undrafted, rated higher.

he's played both right and left so thats useful, plus looks like he's pretty good in pass protection and not just a road grader

This draft just went from a "B" in my book to an "A+". Three solid starters, including one at quarterback. Awesome, Awesome, job by our front office. Hoping we get a big time receive now. May turn to free agency for that..

I wish there was some how we could move up, get one of those WRs. That would make this draft special.

I plead ignorance about Schwartz. I don't know enough about him and Olinemen to say he should or shouldn't be taken over others.

I am starting to feel weary about our WRs (as most are) and also that we won't have any major upgrades to our defense. I realize we can't draft everyone and our offense is pitiful; it is what it is.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

He's a smart football player and he might not have rated as high as some others, I think we drafted a starter at RT here.

I knew he was out of our range and would be reaching for him a bit at 37, but I liked the pick before the Combine and I like the player too.

I'll be really intersted to read why they went with Schwartz instead of some of the other tackles out there.

I was listening to the radio and they said this is one of the deepest WR draft classes in quite awhile. I bet we could snag Posey in the 3rd.

I've heard the same thing which is why i'm not surprised we went tackle in the second...

however, I REALLY hope the next time we pick we're taking a WR...

Edit: and if we're picking a Big Ten WR I think I'd rather have Toon if he's tere.

These are the same things that were said about taking guys like TJ Ward in the 2nd.

The two drafts before that this front office has had has given us ...

Joe Haden
TJ Ward
Colt McCoy (who, say what you want, started 1 1/2 years for us)
Shawn Luauvo
Phil Taylor
Jabaal Sheard
Greg Little

And now Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden and Mitchell Schwartz

Have you guys ever stopped to think that MAYBE this front office knows what they're doing?

And I bet we'd be laughed at for it. There are probably 7 or 8 WRs that should go before him. He'll be available in 4 for sure, maybe even 5.

I like Posey in the 4th or 5th.

I actually think Posey could be a steal in this draft.

But, if we're going WR in the 3rd, I hope it's Nick Toon.

I'm surprised the kid from LSU hasn't been picked up yet...

wonder how many more WRs go in the second... I'm thinking maybe three more?

I remember reading awhile back that it was expected that we'd draft 3-4 starters in this draft...

it looks like we have 3 for sure starters and as long as we get a pretty decent WR that should make for a 4th starter... which would make everything else just gravy....

Seems like a linebacker will fall to us in the third too. That could be the fourth starter.
