With the draft winding down, figured I'd start a thread to discuss and list the UDFAs we'd like to bring in/do bring in. Thoughts?
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Well, we can open camp with 90 players, so we'll probably need a few.
We will finish up with .. what ..... 11 drafted players? We have, if I counted right, 64 players under contract now. That's 75 .... so we'll need 15 more bodies.

Eric Page.
Sad he didn't get drafted.
He could push Benjamin for the returning duties.

yeah, Harris would be a good one, too.
I think there would be too much drama for them to consider Minnefield, otherwise he'd definitely be worth bringing in.

OT Levy Adcock, Ok St WR Dwight Jones, UNC Darron Thomas Ore (poor guy, why'd he leave early? He could have competed for another championship. Would have been an exciting game, him vs Barkley)
Really don't notice anyone else.
I'd like to bring in a couple more WRs though. WLBs too. May be if we could find a backup center. Who's out backup center anyway? Greco?

Why? He had microfracture surgery. How can you draft a guy if you don't even know if he can play?

The Patriots drafted Dennard and he could face a prison sentence.

True, if he's not becoming Bubba's girlfriend, he certainly can play.
What are the odds of him playing? And the odds of him going to the 'big house'?

Is he a first time offender? If he is it seems like he might just get a slap on the wrist (probation and a fine).
That is my completely unqualified opinion.

Faces 5 years in the pokey.
Of course, from the link provided -
Quote:
Dennard, an All-Big Ten Conference player, had been pegged as a second- or third-round pick in this week's NFL draft. NFL.com draft analyst Gil Brandt has Dennard ranked 67th on his list of top 100 prospects.
Brandt said Dennard's arrest could drop him as far as the fourth round, a difference that could cost him about $300,000 in salary over a standard four-year rookie contract.
Correction: Drop him as far as the 7th round, a difference that could cost him millions over a standard rookie contract and his freedom for 5 years.

I was aware of that but the reports I read (and apparently teams didn't buy into them) he was recovered or recovering well and was expected to be 100%.
I mean, not even in the 7th round? Honestly, this isn't the homer in me saying this,, But he's better than that..

I've read he is healing slower than expected.. but so what.. dude will get better, and supposedly the surgery will make his knee even stronger.

If he's a first time offender, he may do a little jail time, but he won't go to prison.

My favorite (Bryce Brown) got drafted - I agree with those that are listed.
Some of my favorites:
Tauren Poole (shocked he is still available) Dale Moss (huge potential) Chris Owusu (has all the big play potential we want in WRs) Minnifield (local connections might bring him in)
