I'm not saying Miami isn't good.

But Indiana could not be playing to their strengths any more than they are.

It's like they won two games, then forgot they were the underdog, which was how they won two games to begin with...

If Bosh hadn't gotten hurt I now think they may of gotten swept...

Sign that the game is over:

Marv Albert and Steve Kerr openly mocking a player in the game.

They won two games because the refs allowed them to play defense. They got beat last game because West and Hibbert got sat down partway through the third with foul trouble and both sat out nearly a full quarter of play. Once they lost that second home game, their hopes for winning the series became virtually nonexistant. No way they'd take another game in Miami.

Thing that ticks me off is Granger sprained his ankle when he went up for a three and Lebron stuck his foot under Granger when he was in the air so he'd land on it. That's bush league.

The guy guarding you is only wearing one shoe...

DRIVE TO THE BASKET MAYBE?

Driving ain't gonna get them back in the game. Refs aren't going to call fouls in a 20-point game. They just want to keep the clock moving.

See clear foul uncalled on Battier right there.

Shane Battier literally shoved David West to the ground so someone could get a rebound.

Can we put Chris Paul on the Pacers and restart this series?

Apparently Mike Miller should be awarded a medal of valor for playing a possession with only one shoe. I wonder what Dwyane Wade would've had to say if an Indiana player had thrown the shoe into the crowd...

I hope the NBA raises Hansbroughs foul to a 2 and suspends him for Game 5...

And rescinds the foul on Haslem...

JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW WHATS UP.

fun thought of an upset while it lasted. LeBron/Wade are just too good for a team without a defacto scorer to keep pace when the ref's decide to call a game like tonight.

Boston/Philly has no chance. At least it's SA v. OKC on the other side. Either of those teams can beat Miami.

Wow.

Just wow.

A Miami player could pull out a knife and stab a Pacers player and still would probably get a Flagrant-1.

only after the league reviews it as no-call would be made on the court

Not that it would have any impact, but Pittman should be suspended the remainder of the playoffs for that hit on Lance Stephenson. Intentional elbow to the throat. Keep it classy.

Haha somebody on ESPN's forum said Pittman should be punished by being forced to play 35 minutes per game for the rest of the playoffs.

Between MWP's "flagrant" the other night, and Haslem's foul tonight, what the hell?

I thought MWP's foul was freaking textbook, you can even argue it shouldn't have been a foul...

Haslem is a repeat offender just life MWP. Threw his mouthpiece at a referee in what was it, 2006?

MWP totally deserved the flagrant on that. He made a great play with his right hand then inexplicably, after the shot was up, pushed the player's shoulder with his left hand, sending him to the ground.

Honestly, how is intentionally elbowing someone in the throat not ground for an assault charge?

You are 100% right. But you still had Reggie Miller, Kenny Smith, Shaq, and Barkley all saying it shouldn't have been a flagrant. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

It was like they didn't see the arm at first that pushed him. Once it was pointed out, they acted like a WWE referee who pretends they didn't see something.

If Artest did not push with the off arm, it would have been a hard foul ... no more, no less.

LeBron still settled for jumpers when Heat struggled, like in game 3. I expect it to happen more, especially against better defensive teams. You can't keep attacking when the defense makes you work hard and not get exhausted, especially playing 40+ mins. Attacking against the Wizards and getting dunks everytime isn't the same as getting denied by Boston, resetting, attacking and getting denied again, resetting, and maybe ending up at the line.

That's why the dude is getting tired. Miami's offense is incompetent and relies on 2 guys to do everything and their defense is super aggressive.

So ummm, DPTY isn't even on 1st team?

LOL, at least Kobe isn't on 1st team. I guess that's a microscopic step in the right direction

What's the point of Points if the 4th highest point getter is on the 2nd team?

because they actually follow positions. unlike the rookie team that had 5 guards and 2 forwards on the 1st team (yeah, 7 guys made the 1st team).

Indiana better freaking beat a front court of Joel Anthony, Juan Howard and Shane Battier.

Why did Hasnbourgh get a Flagrant-2? He was playing THE BALL. Wade's head just happened to be under it...

Doesn't an F-2 show INTENT to injure or whatever?

Dumb.

Yeah, I'm sure Miami is going to miss Dexter freaking Pittman...

And I'm tired of hearing all these Miami people claim Indiana started it.

They weren't the ones shoulder tackling people in game 2 because a call didn't go their way...

Indiana should sign someone to a 10 day contract and have them kick D-Wade in the balls...

The worst part is, all this does is hurt Indy.

They show ANY intensity in game 6, and they'll probably get T'd up...

This moves Indy's chances up to slim.

If they aren't already mentally broken from last night, they stand a good chance of forcing a seventh game (where they'll likely get clobbered, but a game seven is a game seven).

I think it will come down to David West. He's the real tough guy for them. He needs to man the f up and stop letting Battier dominate him. West is bigger and stronger.

With Pittman also out, the Heat will be down three big men for Game 6 and likely will have to activate Eddy Curry.

If Indiana doesn't capitalize on this, they suck and deserve to lose.

If by 'considering' you mean bringing in Shaq for a talk with the owner and allowing him to say he was being considered for the GM spot, then sure.

I think this is more of a friendly gesture to Shaq then anything of actual merit.
