What's up fellow Dawg Pounders... I'm new here, and just wanted to introduce myself before jumping in and posting. I've been a member on another forum for a long time (won't name any names) and it was time for a change. One of the posters there recommended this site, so I thought I would give it a try. I'm looking forward to the season, very excited about Trent Richardson and some of the other players our boys drafted. Hopefully it's a great year. I live in TN and have attended Middle TN Browns Backers viewing parties, so if anyone here is from the Middle TN area, maybe we've crossed paths. Looking forward to talking about the Browns with the community here. If there's anything you want to know just ask, I'm a pretty open book.

Welcome aboard. We're a friendly bunch, for the most part ......

Welcome! Yeah, we're a decent bunch. Just don't speak ill of Justin Blackmon around these parts. You may awaken the wrath of a certain poster on this board.

Funny you should say that... The forum I left actually had a poster with a massive mancrush on Blackmon. I was more of a Michael Floyd guy. We went round and round (on more tha just that one issue) and believe it or not, he was one of the main regulars on that forum that caused me to look elsewhere for my Browns fix.

We got slammed by a tornado a few years back. It made national headlines, so that may be why you've heard of it. Also, MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) Blue Raiders is located here, so if you're a college football fan, that could be how you've heard of us.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I can already tell this place is going to be heads and shoulders better than my last spot. Wish I would have heard about it sooner.

I've been to Stones River battlefield many times.
Tennessee has alot of attractions other than the standards.
I always liked Rock City/Ruby Falls, Jack Daniels Distillery, LBL, and secret spot called Fall Creek Falls east of Murfreesboro.

All great ways to spend a day Kendall. FCF/Ruby Falls is amazing. Excellent hiking and fishing around these parts if you like the outdoors. The greenways and local battlefields are all very accessible and pet friendly. Lots of places to take the dogs. We also enjoy heading up to the Smokies on the weekends and have family in Knoxville. Glad to know you Kendall.

Welcome... Some people will get under your skin from time to time about an issue, heck I might be one of them, but don't let that deter you.

So I'll ask the obvious question.... you come from Russia? or recent ancestors come from Russia? I realize that moving from Russia to Murfreesboro, Tennessee is a pretty natural transition.

Yea talk about culture shock! lol
No, I'm third generation. My Dad was born here and my grandparents came over about three years before he was born. So he was raised with a healthy dose of the Russian culture. I can speak a little Russian, but I'm not extremely fluent. I know just enough to get by on a visit. But I do enjoy my heritage and try to keep up on the happenings over there. I guess you could say I'm "Russian-American".

I have a client from Moscow, he comes here about every 2 months. I love talking to him over a couple beers (which he starts drinking at about 10am ), he probably gets tired of it but I love picking his brain about the culture and the politics etc... Funny thing you learn is that while many things are different, human nature is pretty much the same everywhere.

I tailgated with The Middle Tennesee Browns Backers at Adelphia Coliseum Sunday, December 30th, 2001. It was sunny but cold early and a very cold day for Nashville. As the game went on snow flakes were flying through the air.

We were down by 14 points in the fourth quarter and came back to win that game 41-38 in the most exciting game I've seen our browns play since their return.

The Browns Backers were so very warm and welcoming to us and I actually have some pics of my Buddy Mojo and myself tailgating with them.

Not only was it the most exciting game I've seen since our return, but they were the best seats I've ever had for a Browns game. Section 109 Row A seat 2.

I'll never forget a moment of that game for as long as I live. If you were there, thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
