I love the idea of giving someone a T for talking to someone... ..But not giving the other team a T for physically contacting them... West should touch the ball every possession.

Travel? Pfft, LeBron James has never traveled in his Career! LBJ doesn't know the meaning of the word Travel!
Other words James doesn't know the meaning of: Honesty, Loyalty, Respect...

Uh.. Oh..
EDIT: Nevermind, that was clearly a "I missed the layup, better look hurt" situation
Sidenote: James really needs to rethink that mouth piece, makes his teeth looked jacked up...

If Indiana could figure out how to stop turning the ball over they'd be up by 15 right now. Their ball movement is horrible.

Indiana's likely going home with one of those "What could of been" kind of feelings...
This is almost sad.

Man, these dorks from Indiana wanted to cry about not getting any respect? Well this game is exactly why they get no respect. Playing a team they match up pretty well against, which is missing two key players, and they just turn the ball over on possession after possession and play horrible defense. Can't believe I bought into the hype for a minute and thought they might be able to make some noise playing "team" basketball, the way the Spurs do, or the Pistons of 9-10 years ago did. Losing by 10 after 3 quarters when your opponent only has four players who have scored? Bunch of clowns.
20+ point loss.

They went up 2-1, and thought it was over, Miami became the underdog.
Once Miami didn't roll over for them, they allowed them to come back even stronger...

KEY MOMENT:
Indiana gets like 5 possesions in a row. Can't score.
Come down and Anthony gets fouled and 1...

21 turnovers. 21.
Six heat players have scored. Two of them are Anthony with five and Battier with two. Four Heat players have outscored the entire Pacers team. These guys deserve every drop of ridicule they're going to receive after tonight.

It'd help if they actually TRIED to defend Wade.
Nah, lets let him into the paint ANY TIME HE WANTS.

If I was Vogel going into this game, I'm telling my guys to let Wade and LeBron get whatever shots they want. Let them score 40 apiece. With even half-hearted defense, they should be able to prevent every other person on the Heat from scoring at all. If you can't outscore two guys, you don't deserve to win. But apparently Indiana can't outscore two guys.
Absolutely no reason whatsoever you should be letting scrubs like Mario Chalmers and Mike Miller score 12-15 points apiece. These guys are some of the worst players in the entire NBA, and they are lighting you up.

This is my final point.
Indiana sucked, their fans are still chanting Thank You Pacers.
Miami is likely going to the NBA Finals, can't fill their stadium...

Okay I'll say it. Indiana should be embarrassed. They essentially lost to 2 guys. Paul George and Granger got worked like dogs this series. So did David West for the most part. They really need better big man depth. The guys behind Hibbert and West are absolutely awful.

and a PG (or someone who can pass really well). Miami just fronted Hibbert all series. it's ridiculous that the Pacers couldn't figure out a way to get him the ball anyway.

I keep imagining Chris Paul on the Pacers. Wow. A guy that can get his AND distribute, they'd be awesome..

-The Spurs are 24-1 in their last 25 road games in which they didn't rest starters.
-The Spurs are 43-4 in Tony Parker's last 47 games.
Those records are just unreal.

Boston may beat them once...
If Philly can stay within 12-15 points on average I think that would be considered a success...
#ReverseJinxingTheHeckOutOfTheECF
SIDENOTE: Hindsight says I would of preferred Indy to NOT put up such a good fight if they weren't going to win, cause all it did was wake James and Wade up...
Hence why I kind of hope Philly wins Game 7, let Miami get back into Cruise control, so that SA/OKC can yank on their parking brake...

it doesn't matter. SA/OKC have such better wing defenders and team defense that no matter what looks "woken up" against the Pacers/76ers/Celtics will get a harsh reality check there.
it may not be enough, but there's no way they breeze to the basket and make the Thunder or Spurs defense look like that

The biggest problem i see is that, whoever Miami gets, it's going to be fairly easy. Whereas OKC and SA are going to beat the living tar out of each other. I think that, while the WC team is superior in overall talent, a rested Miami is certainly good enough to make a better run then we would care to admit against a beat up and tired SA/OKC. Especially SA.
I can't see the ECF going more then 5, and I can't see the WCF going less then 6 (this series screams 7 games to me). Miami will have an edge going in.

depends on injuries, but:
I think having a hard-fought series helps more than hurts. you get to learn how your team works best in those tough moments, figure some stuff out and really work together as a team (and have that confidence in those moments).
miami might win every game by 30 (if they get Philly) and that won't help them prepare at all.

maybe, but the numbers don't show that: According to Stats Inc., teams with 6+ days of rest playing teams with just one day of rest, are 7-0 in the postseason since 1991-92. The average margin of victory in those cases has been over 22 points. Small sample size, but the point spread makes it relevant IMO. web page This came up at the beginning of the LAL/OKC series. OKC swept, LAL went 7. OKC wins by, what was it, 25? Oh BTW, I'm not intentionally stalking you, it's just working out that way.

I think Miami will definately crush whoever in Game 1, part of why I was hoping Boston would win game 6. Just so they were a little more rested.
I think KG and Peirce can will them to 1 maybe 2 wins.
I just don't want SA and OKC to kill each other so much that it makes it easier for Miami.
Just think if the NBA reseeded LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE. Miami likely would have swept Philly this round, I'd predict Indy to beat Boston in 5 or 6, and then we'd get an even less prepared Miami versus an even more prepared Indy (though Miami would have Bosh)
I live on hypotheticals.

good to know on those numbers. but, i was more thinking for the series, not just that first game.
the reason being when the series really gets going, you are going to have close tough battles and the more battle tested team I would think would have the advantage

Only two of five major team sports (NBA, MLB, NFL, MHL, NCAA Men's basketball) re-seed in the playoffs. To be fair, the MLB can't re-seed due to having only four teams in the tournament.

I don't understand the point of not Re-Seeding.
It makes seeds somewhat pointless, beyond having home (court/field/ice) advantage.
I wasn't aware that Hockey didn't (not a fan)
You'd think the two (pro) sports with the most teams in the playoffs would give the teams that worked to get the high seeds, the full advantage of having them...
Balderdash I say!

Dear D-Wade,
In case we show some fight this series, and put you guys on the ropes again, could you please not try to disassemble my elbow like last year?
Just a thought, Rondo.
