The Mayans.
Leave it to the Mayans and we won't even finish the season.

Leave it to the Browns to finally clinch with a few weeks to play ... Only for the apocalypse to wipe out society before the playoffs start.

If the Browns play like they did LAST season, there will be a number of folks rooting for the Mayans!

I am thinking, ummmm, an act of God. Lord knows that we are overdue. Stop giving away games to our rivals in the division. Start with .500 splits with them and maybe we get a wildcard. It would be a miracle IMO.

..name the single biggest factor
The single biggest factor..TIME...the needed period (of time) to develop into a playoff caliber team.
...the fans and media need to give the entire team "time"
...the coaches and players need time to grow, mature, learn and develop into playoff caliber players and coaches.
No one knows how much time will be needed so everyone needs to be patient.
It might be this year or maybe next year or maybe the year after...but our time is coming, that we know !

Eh.
Cam Newton was "The Story" last year.
Andy Dalton won 3 more games and made the playoffs.
I think some kind of statement game against Philly, and not a 52-49 kind of one, but like, Us clearly going out, playing better, and winning decisively... Would be a spark much needed...

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
