when was the last time a cincinnati team won a championship.. Maybe the reds? when was that.
Bengels have been to the doorstep but didn't win, Wasn't there a Pro or Semi Pro basketball team in Cinci for a time. Maybe it was the old ABA?
People from Pittsburgh have the right to laugh at us a little. Lots of Superbowls, a few World Series wins.
But anyone that is from Cincinnati throwing any kinda smack at us is really kind of a joke.
I mean, you guys had Charles Keating fighting against Larry Flint and then Keating ends up being a crooked banker?
And you think that throwing out that LBJ got a ring in Miami as a big deal, buddy, you are way outta whack..
Dude the Reds have FIVE World Series Trophies & the last one was in 1990 which is not that long ago. Better check your facts before spouting off drivel.
CINCINNATI - A new report is ranking the top 15 cities in the United States for bed bug population, and Cincinnati holds the No. 2 spot.
It's hard to take any "City" smack seriously from you Clowns when Cleveland is most famous as the 5-time winner of "America's Poorest City".
Isn't it a shame that a city like Cincinnati, flush with such wealth, has such a problem with filth that it is second in bed bug population?
Instead of bragging, I'd be embarrassed if I were you.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

1990 eh? That's 22 years ago. What's that, about 10 years before you were born?
Really? Race riots? Over the Rhine being the most dangerous neighborhood in the country? Total lack of culinary attractions? The ENTIRE west side. NO good breweries (Moerlein and Rivertown BLOW).
Shall I continue?
You have no ammo in city-to-city smack.

NO good breweries? It looks like you are forgetting Hudepohl-Schoenling & Samuel Adams also & there are tons of great restaurants in Cincy. It's evident you know very little of Cincinnati. Exactly what better breweries do you have in Cleveland? Take your time.
P.S. - Over-the-Rhine is being upscaled slowly but surely & besides Over-The-Rhine is tiny compared with the vast slums & just plain abandoned areas in Cleveland & other cities. Cleveland should appreciate Detroit because without them the "Poorest City" crown would still belong to Cleveland. Race riots? That is ancient history & now we have a black mayor & black police chief.

You MUST be a west-sider with comments like that. Hudy is about as good as PBR. Samuel Adams is run out of Boston. Sorry.
Off the top of my head, let's see which better breweries are hq'd in Cleveland: Great Lakes hands down The Brew Kettle Rocky River Brewing Company Market Garden Willoughby Brewing Company
That's just off the top of my head.
Interesting that you talk about ten years ago being ancient history when you babble on about the Bungles making the Super Bowl 3 decades ago.
Black mayor and black police chief....that means everything is ok, right?
Speaking of your mayor, how's that laser rocket pitching arm of his doing?

I could have thrown better blindfolded.
You obviously know nothing or at least very little about Cincinnati. Samuel Adams may be out of Boston BUT they do have a brewery in Cincinnati at 1625 Central Parkway. Here are some more Cincy Breweries for you & incidentally your list of Cleveland breweries is pretty weak, I have never heard of any of them. Cincinnati has a brewing tradition far & above Cleveland.
Breweries:
Mt. Carmel Brewing Company - 4362 Mount Carmel Tobasco Road, Cincinnati Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery - 10 Fountain Square, Cincinnati Listermann Brewing Supply & Mfg - 1621 Dana Ave, Cincinnati Christian Moerlein Brewing Company - 260 Northland Blvd #328, Cincinnati Rivertown Brewing Co. - 607 Shepherd Lane #6, Cincinnati Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co. - 10921 Reed Hartman Highway, Suite 329, Cincinnati

I really can't believe we're debating this, but here goes:
There are no great breweries run out of Cincinnati. In my list of Cleveland's, every one I named is HQ'd and was started in Cleveland. I left off any chains which may have a brewery in Cleveland but are not run out of Cleveland. This includes several places that you listed. I also didn't have to Google, copy and paste my answer.
You don't have to tell me about Sam Adams. I've been to their Boston headquarters twice, met the bald guy with the long beard, sampled their Boston brick red ale and own a bottle of Utopias. They are a Boston HQ'd brewery with a brewing plant in Cincinnati for logistical distribution.
Not familiar with Cincinnati? Hmm... Well let's see:
Mt. Carmel: you can buy this at Kroger in Cincinnati, but it's not very good. Lack of good hop quality. Could never be a front runner in most cities but it's cincy's finest.
Rock Bottom? Are you serious? This place is a chain brewpub with places all over the country. Nobody ever goes to a city to visit Rock Bottom. The beer isn't even that great. The Fountain Square Rock Bottom's best claim to fame is giving out free glasses on St. Patty's Day.
Listermann...LOL. Who's not familiar with Cincinnati? Listermann is across from my alma mater, Xavier. It's a SHOP where I buy SUPPLIES for my home brewing. Great group of guys that works there, but if you go there to drink, you probably have some real issues. Now stop checking Google to come up with answers because you'll look even more foolish.
Moerlein and Rivertown: see my above post about those two. The best thing about Moerlein is its restaurant's food by Great American BP. The beer is average at best.
Hudepohl. See what I said above. Hudy is Cincy's PBR.
Hofbrauhaus: not a bad place if you're newly 21 and want to stand on a long German bench to sing and dance. Beer comes in big steins which is nice, but it's still not good. Hate to burst your bubble though. The place is also a brew pub chain. Originates in Munich and there's one in Pittsburgh as well. Also, the beer is not good. It's all bland lagers. Purely one dimensional.
Funny, last night I was at .&Bull in Hyde Park. Saw a whole ton of Great Lakes signs all over the place. Can't remember the last Moerlein or Mt Carmel sign I saw in Cleveland.
If you haven't heard about the Cleveland breweries, especially Great Lakes, You obviously know very little about beer. I've spent much time in both cities and go to downtown Cincy quite frequently. Ive been to every brewery on both my list and yours. Given your comment about Cincy's brewing history vs Cleveland's and your past comments about Cincy HS football vs Cleveland's HS football, I'm guessing you just like to proverbially stick your head in the sand. So, are you from the west side of Cincy?
Now let's put this to rest and talk about how you guys almost blacked out a nationally televised game.

Quote: what football team does that young gent play for as this is a football board and all.
Not Cleveland.
ah, that is correct. Mr. James does not play for the Cleveland Browns. Perhaps you could point me to the NFL team that has him on their roster. I cannot seem to find it. Lots of suggestions he might play in this other league called the NBA though.
