Just got back from a 3 day excursion. I try to go there on a yearly basis.
This year I hit the history museum down in the Bloor Yorkville district.
Man is it insane in there.
The Chinese,Japanese and Korean exhibits are mindblowing.
The great thing, they let you take pics.
I went to the RNR HOF, no cameras allowed.
It might be one of the best museums I have been to. I've been to several...Cleveland..Chicago..Berlin....
they had a nice Jazz Festival a 100 yards from my hotel.
went down to Little Italy past Chinatown to see where they had a "mob hit" last week.
funny thing..they have a Euclid Blvd in Toronto.
Toronto and Cleveland..2 very opposite cities.
right down to the lakes. Lake Ontario is so clear you can see 40 meters down to the bottom.

Been to toronto a couple of times for Business,, never seemed to have the time to visit anything of great interest and it's been a 10 years at least since my last time

Friendly people is about all I can tell you., Very large Italian population there that I wasn't actually aware of.

When I visited, I remember thinking what a clean city it appeared to be..

And it's Euclid Ave here, Euclid Blvd there.. Just a little FYI

my bad its Euclid Av there. I even took a pic of it.
Yes there is a very large Italian and Sicilian population in Toronto and Montreal.
Its a epicenter of organized crime factions and clans.
The Feds have done a good job of making some hay vs the LCN.....all the 5 families have shrunk...once powerful families like Philly,Boston,Cleveland and Buffalo are just a fraction of what they used to be....Detroit is still a powerhouse that hasn't been affected by turncoats.
But up in Canada,OC is very very strong.
I suggest you go up there. It has a crime lower than L.A, NYC.
Stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Chinatown. Its location to Spadina, Bay, Yonge makes everything accessible by foot. Eaton Centre, Hockey HOF, CN Tower.
we walked 22 miles in 3 days.
