Last season I became the new manager of the long time dawgtalkers fantasy football league and I've gotten some inquiries as to when the league would open back up. Well that day is today!

Returning managers should get an invite via email fairly soon. Those that wish not to re up, if you could post in here and say so that would help me open the league up to other members.

Last season, the scoring got wayyy out of wack, added players and positions that were not in the previous seasons (this with out alerting members so those who couldn't make the draft got screwed and were out of the race in week 1.) I returned the setting back to the way they were the season before. If we want to change them, it will have to go to a league vote and pass the majority before I'll change it. Thats the fairest way to do it IMO.

When you join either post in this thread that you did with your team name, or on the league page. Those that don't I'll remove, so we don't end up with randos in our league.

i am getting this error:

There is not room in this league if all teams from last year return. If you were invited to take over an existing team, please click the link in the email you received to join the league. To create a brand new team, get the commissioner to increase the maximum number of teams, or remove teams that will not be returning. (Error #638)

OK I removed 6 of the teams that haven't replied to the emails. As for the URL, not sure. It worked for me and a friend I tested the link with, but now its not working for me either. So I have no clue.

Either way you should be able to join now.

Edit: It was in the URL I posted, I added a period... D'Oh! I fixed it and should work now.

in keeping w the old browns player references, i renamed my team "tommy vardell." I wanted to name it Touchdown Tommy Vardell but it was too long

I'm Armond (Word can't say on DTs) Smith.

Comes from the 4th and 1 last season, where Hillis was punishing them, and then on 4th and 1, Patty Boy gets cute and hands the ball to Armond Smith on a sweep. Guy at browns backers bar yells, "Armond (Bleeping) Smith! Are you kidding me Patty!!!!". I laughed pretty hard over that.

For those that aren't checking the league board, there's a vote about the Flex position. If you'd like the change the flex position to allow RBs to it, cast a vote on the league message board. 3 in favor thus far, we need 7 to make the change.

Anyone else looking to join? lil patty boy hasnt made himself known and I'm about to throw him out. Either say DTs name you are or I'm looking for a 12 member. Who ever responds first gets in.
