If we were allowed name calling, I'd call you a typical Jack Arse..
But I guess I can't... so I'll just shut up and go away.....

Absolutely. It's been very hot with some nasty afternoon/evening storms almost every day. It's like Florida only they get showers, we are getting lightning and hail.. it's awful, but the grass is green.

That is nice except for the fact I need to start mowing the lawn again.

Lol, my sentiments exactly. I haven't mowed since mid-June.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

LOL. I do have to say it's nice that, since my son was born, my neighbor with his Deere rider has mowed our lawn. He has the hat and shirt to go with it. He's an awesome dude.

My grass hasn't grown since the end of June, but I've got these thin ugly stick weeds that keep popping up just to make me mow.

I sprayed my lawn with turf builder, and all of the weeds died off. I water once or twice a week and my lawn is mostly green. I have had to cut the grass, but most of the weeds are gone.
I may treat it again when the forecast calls for a few days of sun.and weather below 90.

Humidity SUCKS!
I walked out of the gym at 11:30 tonight and it felt like I was breathing in water. It's 1 am here in NW Louisiana and we're at 80 degrees with 87% humidity and feels like 86 degrees.

I had them too, but I sprayed my lawn with Scott's Turf Builder Weed and Feed, and now they are all history.
Every lawn around me has them though.

My cousin that lives in San Diego didn't understand why I would trade my 87 degrees for his 102 in a heartbeat...
As a professional fat guy, I have a hatred for humidity that knows no bounds...
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I'm mowing almost twice a week. We have a lawn guy that fertilizes every couple months...... and bermuda grass grows amazingly fast in hot/wet weather....
