Yet a minority owner in The Steelers would rather become the majority owner here? Your logic makes no sense.

Has anyone tried the Sam Adam's Summer Sampler? I'm a beer snob and I must admit, I'm a big fan.

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy destroys anything in it, although I do like the Summer Ale.

Not a big fan of the Summer Ale. What else is included? I do love their Cream Stout, but I haven't seen it around in quite some time.

Don't get me started on Summer Shandy. I personally think it shouldn't even be called a beer. I'm also not a big Leinenkugel fan. Admittedly though, I am a beer snob. That being said, my summer guilty pleasure is Bud Light Lime.

Jfan - they moved Noble Pils from their spring headliner into the summer pack, which I think is a good move because it's smooth and light. They also have the Boston Lager, Summer Ale, Cherry Wheat, Summer Session (Belgian style), and a Kolsch which goes down real smooth. I can't wait for their fall sampler.

I've also found myself dipping a lot into the Bell's two-hearted this summer.

Randy would rather own a soccer team than this poor excuse for a franchise he inherited.

You're right lol, it's lemonade but I can swill it to no end.

I hate Bud Light Lime so I can agree to disagree on this matter.

I would have to say Bud Light Platinum is awesome though, I've cut back on beer consumption this year because of the price and this has helped. A 6 is only a buck more than the regular bud light and the alcohol content is higher, it's like a smooth Budwesier.

Used to love Cherry Wheat....until the night years back where I overindulged and tasted it twice. Can't even take the smell of it now, lol.

That's funny. Sadly that's been the same story with me and tequila ever since August 29, 2006.

I found a place in Raleigh that occassionally stocks some of the Great Lakes brews which I hear about a lot on here. I've had a couple and I'm impressed... very good.

i'm jealous. if it's Dortmunder, then even more so.

the local "512" brand here in Austin is okay. best of the microbrews here IMO, but it's just not the same.

I gotta disagree with you. Duvel is very good. Love their strong gold pale ale.

My favorite is Lost Abbey/Port Brewing Co. out in San Diego. Their Hop-15 IPA was the best beer I ever had. They also have a bourbon barrel imperial stout called Old Viscosity which almost put me to tears.

Triangle Brewing Company and Red Oak are probably the best in North Carolina... there is one that makes some good dark beer but I don't drink a lot of dark beer and the name escapes me... Duck something or other.

Downslope distillery............good rum, vodka, and whiskey. From colorado.

Won't post the website, as that may be seen as site pimping, but if you take the name, and add dot com, it'll get you there.

10 Cent Beer Night – Indians vs. Rangers, Cleveland Municipal Stadium, June 4, 1974

Bad team + disgruntled/primitive fan base + cheap beer = a recipe for disaster. More than 25,000 fans showed up to take advantage for this one-and-done promotion. Fans could buy up to six cups of beer for ten cents at a time. Throughout the game, fans ran out onto the field, fights breaking out in the stands as people continued to get drunker and drunker. Everything came to a head in the 9th inning when a fan jumped out of the stands and stole the hat right off Texas OF Jeff Burroughs’ head, touching off a riot that would cause the umpires to force the Indians to forfeit the game.

The Maumee Bay Brewery has a good selection of their own brews. You can buy a sampler paddle to try them out. The problem is, it usually takes me a few paddles to decide which one I like best....and by that time I'm feeling to good to care. Their food is quite good also. I haven't been there in a while...after reading this thread I think I know what I'm doing this weekend.

*Sigh*

Good run, vodka, and whiskey .... 3 things that I can't have right now.

Me neither. I gave up alcohol 20 years ago. I don't miss it, though.

Congrats to you. Very strong.

Jfan - Maumee Bay is good stuff. I used to go there when I was in law school at UT when we had something called Bar Review (where we would go to a bar and review it). One of Toledo's finer points. Unfortunately there's nothing good down here in Cincy microbrew wise.

BTW, if any of you go to Great Lakes, they get all their meat from a butcher who's a family friend of ours at the West Side Market. So have a burger next time you're there. They're really good.

LOL. He was saying it was the best. I conceded it was very good, but just not the best. The best in my mind was Port/Lost Abbey. Not sure if there's any San Diego dawgs on here who can support that.

Ok folks, keep the conversation to the topic at hand or ignore the post all together. We don't allow topics to veer so completely off the original topic in any other forum, we aren't going to allow it here either. While we understand this is a method of ignoring a troll, you're really only giving into his need to see his name in the spotlight.

My advice, completely ignore. Thanks, and Go Browns!

Oh, and if someone's thinking of posting about how awesome his smack is that the Refs had to come in and lock up threads to keep the Browns fans from being embarrassed, keep dreaming. You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried.

Have a great day, y'all!
