It would seem unlikely, but it's probably and in the same realm of possibility that he is ousted.
I mean you can't find many who predict otherwise in the media, but as we all know ... the media can be dead wrong.
Big Mike is still under contract for two more years and there is also a chance that he is kept with the team in some form or another. ie: special adviser to the owner ect....

If the Browns are picking top 5 again the house probably needs to be cleaned out.

I actually don't agree with this. I think we're drafting top 15 next year regardless and probably top 10. We're a better team but we're young. When things pick up, thy'll pick up fast but I really believe that time is not this season. We could be picking 5th next year and 25th the year after.

Who wants to bet someone still asks about personnel despite Haslem saying he won't comment?

He says the things you want to see the new owner of the Browns saying and I like his enthusiasm, is it genuine or not? Time will tell in that regard. I don't see Holmgren's imminent departure as a bad thing, he is responsible in part for the direction we're now headed but his comments last season, you're with us or against us? Yeah... I'm against him since that. If we can keep Heckert, I'll be happy as can be.
It feels like things are moving in the right direction for the team, a successful draft. Genuine optimism surrounding the team, and now, a new owner who will only help catalyze that enthusiasm further. He's not going to be an owner in the shadows like Lerner was and I hope that might light a fire under this teams ass when it needs it most.
I think this is a great move, but time will tell the true story. I'm not worried that he was a former partial Stoolers owner, or that he's from Tennessee, he wants to restore a "historic" NFL Franchise to the glory that helped it earn the reputation it has around the world. What's not to like about that?

Agreed! If this guy came up and sat by you in the Pound youd never realize who he was! He loves the game and he gives zero impression that he's some big rich guy!

Although, he did NOT rule out uni changes! Said theyve changed their corporate logo three time and marketing is a huge part of business.
Did say Robert Kraft invited him up to meet and help him out so apparently he is well liked!

I would not be surprised at all to see complete overhaul of the uniforms as well as a logo. I think he hinted that it was coming and personally, I dont mind. I thought with the return they should have added a logo but allow the fans to choose.
I like the fact that he and Holmgren really seemed to hit it off. I dont think either guy is good at hiding their emotions and Holmgren appeared to hold a lot of respect for the guy and Haslam appeared to really admire Holmgren as well as Heckert.

Agree. Holmgren MAY leave but it wont be an ugly affair. I'd bet he tried to get him on the sidelines first! Used terms as LEGEND, SB WINNER and HOFer. There's some respect there at least.

The problem I have with a "new" logo is how are you going to top the brownie elf?
It is honestly one of the coolest logos in professional football.
I'd love for them to use it more often now. Not sure how excited I would be about a completely new logo.
I'm a little less scared about uniform changes now that Nike is in charge of the NFL designs / apparel. Some of the redesigns Reebok puked out were awful.

that's the funny part... because from what I've seen, those multiple outlets are all quoting each other and it all traces back to one anonymous source who had a tip...

He said he needs to learn a lot first. He will learn there is no reason for a logo or a change in uni's. Actually he will learn we have a logo it is an orange helmet. He is a smart guy he will see the throwback unis are the best and not change them.

I'm on the other side of that coin. I think the Elf is a weak logo. It's dated and makes me think of Nabisco cookies, not the Browns. I don't understand the "let's get a logo" crowd. The orange helmet is the logo. Marketing money will be made when we win. Adding an elf to a hat or jersey will keep me from buying it. Not make me want to buy it. Maybe I'm old school but I've found the college Nike uniform reboots attrocious. The Reeboks were an affront to all esthetics. Nike hasn't done much better in my mind. Leave the uniform alone. Let the logo thing die. WIN. Jersey sales will boom if we'd just start winning.

Because the Pats didnt do it?
I think we see a change in unis with the current being our throwback/3rd jersey. I doubt they meddle too much though.

Until I hear it from the horses mouth ... it's all hearsay. I don't care what Mary Kay and the PD says.
My personal opinion is that Banner wants to set in the same seat as Jimmy now does.

I agree. I foresee change, but nothing that will tick off at least moderately traditional fans.
I have a design I've been thinking of for years I might send in. What if a thick white stripe going down brown pants ended looking like the head of a big ol' bone . . . .?
And since our unis always look like throwbacks, I'd have ONE day where we have a modern uni. Some super-modern, flashy, power-ranger looking thing to make all the young'n's happy for a day.
OK, I take that power-ranger part back. Can't go the Bengal route . . .

As much as I love the traditional look of our uniforms, I don't care if we change uniforms, add a new logo, have cheerleaders, or anything else ......... as long as we win.
To quote Al Davis: "Just win baby". Everything else is secondary.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Lmao....my thoughts too.....if they want to market a logo they need to just use brownie the elf and slap him on the side of the helmet and on the sleeves with new stripe design.....personally i could care less what they do as long as they are winning when they are doing it

IF it hadn't been for Michael Vick and the dog fighting, the bulldog would have been on our helmets.
I really did hate the elf lol.

Will Farrell was OK in it.
But seriously, people actually dislike that logo?
Modell phased it out, so that's reason enough to like it.
It was the first logo the Browns used (in the 40's), so I like its' uniqueness and its' tie to the "glory" days.

I think the state of our uniforms is among the absolute least of my concerns. Could be green broccoli in a pink tutu for all I care if they're going to the AFC title game.

And I should add, I don't care about the shirt and pants..........as long as they keep the colors, obviously.
But I love the helmets. Please don't change the helmets. I don't want some elf showing up.
