I think it depends on how "good" the "average" teams are...

2010 everyone thought we could start out 2-0 against TB and KC..

they both went on to win 10 games... But most don't think they were THAT good, just better than the crappier teams...

If we can be good enough, to be better than teams like Cincy, Buffalo, and KC, who can easily have a bad game any week, we can put some wins together...

Put something together, and maybe it snowballs...

MY POINT IS: To sit here and say "We'll be lucky to win 3 games" seems highly ridiculous, to me.

Philadelphia
Vick comes out gangbusters, lights us up, makes us look a fool.
Loss

@Cincinnati
We regroup on D, Dalton goes back to being below average, we pull out a win.
Win

Buffalo
Buffalo is back to their early season form of last year, Offense is clicking, however their defense struggles a bit, they win a mild shootout.
Loss

@Baltimore
Joe Flacco is Joe Flacco again. Throws the game away on Thursday night.
Win

@New York Giants
Our streak of beating SB champs comes to an end as Eli completes a last minute drive for the win.
Loss

Cincinnati
We haven't swept Cincy since 2002, It's about time.
Win

@Indianapolis
A Rookie QB battle, but Indy's bad drafting over the last few years have caught up to them, and while their QB may be better, our team is..
Win

San Diego
The chargers start out slow, and we catch them when they start their usual climb back up.
Loss

Baltimore
Flacco avenges his revious game, and Ray Rice goes all Ray Rice on us.
Loss

@Dallas
Dallas fans finally find out what they truly have in Tony Romo.
Win

Pittsburgh
Big Ben is getting banged up, and isn't getting along with his new OC. But we're just not THERE yet to be able to beat Pitt.
Loss

@Oakland
Palmer has flamed out, Oakland is playing Pryor.
Win

Kansas City
On a "gut feeling" Crennel flips a coin and changes QBs too many times, both of KCs rbs struggle coming off injuries.
Win

Washington
Another Rookie QB showdown, Washington went out and bought some FAs to go along with theres unlike Indy. Too bad RG3 took that huge hit in week 7 and isn't playing.
Win

Denver
Peyton Manning is Peyton Manning again somewhat, Denver is going rough shot over the AFC on the way to the top seed.
Loss

@Pittsburgh
We come into week 17, 8-7, Pittsburgh has struggle, but is 9-6..

It's a hard fought game, down to the last posession. Cleveland leads by 2 as Pitt drives down, the ball is snapped, Jabal beats his man, Ben tries to scramble, but he gets sandwiched by Sheard and Bernard, the ball is free! DQ recovers! Cleveland wins!
Win! 9-7!

We miss the playoffs on tiebreakers...

4-2 in the division and lose tiebreaker to. 9-7 team? What is this, the AFC west?

Lol at 4 divisional wins. How many seasons' divisional wins do we have to combine looking back to sum 4?

If Baltimore splits with us, but still goes 10-6, our division record doesn't matter.

I wasn't really paying attention to how many division wins we had, was just going week by week on my gut on what could happen...

Just sayin

we have 2 key players out on D, rookies starting in most (possibly all) of the money positions, front office distractions, an unproven sophomore HC, and a new OC. That's not a formula for success.

Looking back we have a combined 6 wins in our division over the past five seasons. I'd say four wins this year is a bit of a stretch.

2011 0-6
2010 1-5
2009 1-5
2008 1-5
2007 3-3

Put me down for another 4-12 or 5-11 season. With Richardson's health in question, Haden possibly suspended and an inexperienced offense, it could be another long season.

I don't want to put too many expectations or predictions out there, but if I had to choose our record in the AFCN, I'm gonna say probably 2-4, barring one of the other teams having serious injury problems.

I think we can split with the Bengals, and out of 4 games versus the big dog teams, I am hoping we can squeeze out one.
