When KW2 starts talking to regular people (instead of treating them like crap on the bottom of his shoes) then maybe more fans will believe in him and listen.

Elaborate please?

Browns | Winslow discusses his rehabilitation
Tue, 20 Mar 2007 21:04:00 -0700

Zac Jackson, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow Jr. (knee) has been off crutches for nearly two weeks and has been following his rehabilitation program closely. "I really just started with concentrating on the little things. I'm following the program that our medical staff laid out for me before we decided to have the surgery. I first need to get the strength back in my leg, then progress from there. It's a step by step process, and my next step is running," Winslow said. He added he is feeling great and said he is ahead of schedule. "I'll be back by training camp, if not before."

Just for starters, I have seen him ignore kids asking for his autograph. I have seen him tell adults AND kids he would sign for them later, then walk right past them later and ignore them. I have tried to speak to him myself, only to have him look right at me, then turn his head and walk away. If you want some other examples PM me.

If that's true (and I don't think you'd make stuff up) those are crappy things he did. Rude.
It doesn't take long to sign a few autographs or say a few words. If that's the worse part of the job, he's a lucky guy.

Im not doubting you but it has to depend on the day because I have seen the opposite from Winslow. I have seen him willingly sign autographs at training camp without people asking. He usually chit chats while he signs as well doesnt just grab and sign. I had a little small talk with him about his at the time new tattoo. He usually goes right for the kids. Passes up the adults who look like they are just trying to gain a profit.

The only time I did see him ignore anyone was his rookie season in 04 after practices he would just go straight to the locker room.

Didn't LeCharles Bentley say roughly the same thing at a banquet in December?

I hope KW2 is healthy. The Browns are better when he is on the field.

I heard a rumor that it was "fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

yes I believe he did.. at that time, I think I remember hearing that his recovery was on schedule.

But it was shortly after that that Savage menitoned, (Jan 10 presser) that he didn't want to say anything right now, he would give more info in Feb before the combine.. Savage kept his word and gave us some bad news about LCB needing a second surgery...

That's the last official news we've heard, but like others, I've heard that he's NOT having the surgery and now expects to return in October.. DON'T get excited,,, it's rumor at the moment and I just don't know how credable it actually is.

But, to this day, since Savage said he'd need more surgery,, NOTHING else has been said... Take that anyway you want, but I'm looking at it as a positive..LOL But that's just me!

If the player comes out and says he's fine, why is it so tough for some of you to just believe him and let it go at that...

I thought that is what I was saying

Everybody thinks anything said by anybody on this team is spin, I don't get it either.
