Yes, he looked really good yesterday. He made some nice passes all over the field. he has decent legs also. It helps when your WRs dont drop balls
Kentuckys QB was just awful but Kentuckys o-line did well though. He was getting picked off on easy short passes. The o-line helped Kentucky have a good running game against the Cocks. Kentuckys Guards wouldnt be a bad pickup for the Browns in the later rounds for a backup guard to start a couple years down the road. Their running game success kept Kentucky from being blown out early and gave Kentucky some Time of Possesion. Shaw didnt have to have a steller game today to win.
Hopefully, the Cocks are shown nationally when they play top SEC teams. I want to see how Shaw does against an Alabama or LSU. So far, he looks like he will be a good pickup for some NFL team. Im glad someone else watched that game.

My YSU Penguins go to 4-0 with their come from behind win over Northern Iowa, winning 42-35. They tied the game up with 7 minutes left, then won it on Kurt Hess' 4th TD pass of the game with 1:50 left. Hess, by the way, has thrown 8 TD passes and 0 INT so far this year. Northern Iowa played both Wisconsin and Iowa really tough this year, falling to Wisconsin 21-26, and to Iowa 16-27. They're certainly no pushover in the Missouri Valley Conference. Good win for the Penguins to open conference play.

Yeah, I'm always well rested on Monday when I go back to work.
Between a 3 hour nap on Saturdays during Kentucky games, and the 3 hour nap on Sunday during Browns game, I'm good to go Monday!

saw that as well this morning. the Pac12 is looking competitive top-to-bottom (well, not quite bottom for the expansion Colorado and Utah teams) this year. heck of alot better than recent years.
maybe that gives us hope for the Big10 in a few years?

Big 10 will be better soon - there's been a lot of turn over in the coaching staffs the last few years..
Pac-12 does look great this year.. should be interesting to see how the season plays out.

even in the down year though at least the Big10 should be interesting (go NW, make the Rose!)
the Pac12 looks like they will beat up on each other
the BigXII looks like they will beat up on each other
the ACC looks like they will hand the conference to FSU but the rest will beat up on each other
the SEC has Bama/LSU and maybe Georgia, but the rest will beat up on each other.
should be some fun times and I can see a year like 2007 where a whole slew of teams rising and falling from near the top spots

Watching this shootout in Morgantown...Austin has some good moves but woods has got some impressive hands big frame and good body control. And Bailey is the guy with three touchdowns!

Geno Smith has a beautiful deep ball.
I just wonder about guys in gimmick offenses having to learn the Pro Style.
The main reason I can't wait for this season to end is so Mich can hopefully/finally get rid of the RichRod crap, and bring in a high quality Pro Style QB talent...
Part of the reason I think bringing in Meyer was a "bad" idea for OSU, you're going to get talents, but get used to Athletes playing/learning to play QB.

i don't have a problem with a great athlete playing QB, but I just hope we don't have to start them as freshman/sophmores.
Meyer's offense has proven that he can put up points, and as far as doing it in the Big Ten, the Big Ten is a freaking joke right now. There is not one legitimate team in this conference.

He played great, but if his team played any kind of defense, Andrew Luck wins the Heisman with ease. Just my opinion.
Brandon Weeden had plenty of good games outside of Baylor as well. Tore apart Stanford's defense in the bowl game, and they had a pretty solid D.
