Yummy Beer!

A Colorado brewery’s newest stout features an unusual list of ingredients: roasted barley, hops, sea salt, local malts and bull testicles.

What started as an April Fool’s joke is now the Wynkoop Brewing Company’s latest brew, the Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout, the Daily News reported. Flavored with 25 pounds of bull testicles, a local delicacy in Colorado, the beer was thought up originally as a hoax. But when beer bloggers and customers requested samples, brewers decided to give bull testicle beer a try, the Daily News said.

Wynkoop describes Rocky Mountain Oyster as a slightly viscous, deep-brown stout with hints of chocolate syrup, Kahlua and expresso flavoring, along with a savory umami-like note.

The brewery will debut its newest beer at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver from Oct. 11-13.

BTW, the Wynkoop is AWESOME and if you're in Denver, I highly recommend stopping in. I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't speak to the quality of their beer. I can, however, tell you their house brewed root beer is out of this world! DELISH!

And try the soft pretzels with beer mustard dip. *drool*

I would at least give it a try, can't say you don't like something if you don't try it.

Love Wykoop Brewing Company, but no way in hell am I touching that nasty brew.

j/c On Anderson Live this morning (which is how I heard about the brew) he actually tried it. He and his co-host said it wasn't too bad.

If I was with someone who ordered it, I might ask to take a sip for a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I was going to make a really tasteless joke about Anderson ........ but thought better of it, lol

No worries, his audience giggled like school girls when he said "actually, it's not too bad, I've had worse" he had to go back and say "I've had worse BEERS!" Which made everyone laugh more

I'll stick to my rotation of Burning River, Torpedo from Sierra Nevada, Edmund Fitzgerald, and Dortmunder.

Wow...four very different beers. The Torpedo popped out at me since the other 3 were Great Lakes. Have you tried Lake Erie Monster? I do have to say my favorite "comfort" IPA is a Bell's Two Hearted.

I like my beer but I would get testes if you ask me to drink that.

If you look at the label on the bottom left it has the ABV which is Alcohol by Volume and on the lower right it says 3 BPB which stands for......wait for it.....

In all seriousness, i would try it, why not? Unless youve never had hot dogs,bologna,spam, or many other processed meats you have eaten many animal pieces and parts

I'd just say that it definitely takes balls to drink that ....
