Would you trade down to pick in the 12-14 range and if so, who would you take there (or think will be available) and then who would you target with the 2nd round pick??

Only if D.Moore was off the board. If he's there, you take him and lock down the RDE for the next 5 seasons

If he's gone, I'd absolutely look to trade down for a 2nd or even future 1st + 2nd. I like Okafor a lot, but he's a lot like Sheard, so not sure he's a good RDE fit. Also like G Cooper a lot, but we have more pressing needs than G and Gs simply aren't good value. I'd think about him though IF we trade down for am additional 2nd and hire Chip Kelly, who requires athletic OL and good second level blocking. Cooper is the best G for that scheme

In a trade down scenario I'd look to add CB Poyer for the no2 CB spot.

Not liking the top of this draft, so I'd look to trade down for future picks and more mid/late round shots to land talent

DE Moore in the 1st and CB Wreh-Wilson in the 3rd is still my best case scenario as of now

I agree with you and Moore...if he's on the board we have to take him.

I felt the same way with Milliner too, but I think Detroit is going to snatch him up at #5 overall

I assumed trading down wasn't an option... according to the ESPN mock of the best possible draft choice for each team, they have us taking Moore at 6... they have an OT ahead of us that you don't have. They also have 3 Texas A&M guys in the top 10.

I agree. But note, I only cut & pasted from someone's mock. Picked it only cause Jones & Moore were off the board...

Mingo reminds me of Aldon Smith. If we switch to a 3-4 he's the pick for me.

I'm ok with any of those 3. Trade down would be really nice. Tons of good players projected in the teens and 20's.

If KC selects Geno Smith # 1 they deserve to lose and will pick # 1 again in 2014....Geno Smith is not a top flight QB and not even close to a # 1 pick...But that my opinon...I also said Russlle in Oakland & Quinn would be flops....

I dont see KC selecting Geno....I do see them tring to trade the pick but wont get as much as St.Louis recieved last year but will ask, I do see KC trading down in the draft in the hopes of getting Barkley.

As for us we go LB or CB which ever is the highest ranked player left on the board.

We dont draft any guards but we do take a place kicker between rounds 5-7

Mingo did nothing all year.

How I see the top 5 shaking up:

1. Geno Smith
2. Bjeorn Werner
3. Jarvis Jones ( could drop because of physical)
4. Luke Joeckel
5. Dee Milliner

I like Manti Teo as a SAM, but he is too damn slow to be a MIKE

I like Teo, but I just dont see him as great as everyone else does. I think he can be plug n play for an NFL team. I just dont see how he fits into our LB core. I would never move DQ from MLB in the hopes that an unproven Rookie would fill his shoes enough to justify the move. DQ is leader of our defense and I'd rather see another need filled.

If we switch to a 3-4 can we play both Te'o and Jackson inside?

If that happens I think Mingo could be the guy.

Myself, the best pass rushing DE left.
Of course, depending on who is the coach WILL determine the pick.

I think if Te'o didn't lie ridiculously on his height/weight, he can play. He has good size, and good speed. I don't think he's as good as Patrick Willis was coming out, but I think he's close.

I would love to have him because he's so good against the run, and the one consistent thing with this franchise since '99 is being horrible against the run.

I just think he projects pretty well as an outside 34 LB. He has that speed.
Not sure on his strength.

I want the DE myself.

Johnny Manziel is a dynamic player. Wow.

Interested in checking out Demontre Moore

I think that McCoy is slated to be a possibility back at starter for the Browns. He fits the scheme better than Weeden and he's already supposedly been given the word that he's in the plans. That means, at the least, he'll be on the roster and be given a shot of earning the starting job back.

I suspect that Weeden with his comments about not being able to run Chip Kelly's offense is on the way out. He will likely be traded during the off-season. The question will be how much compensation the Browns will be able to get for him. With those stupid comments, he's probably costing the Browns trade value, but he's also likely worsening his position about where he gets sent.

I wouldn't laugh at you at all. In my view, Tebow is 500% better than Mark Sanchez. I even think that Greg McElroy will be the Jets starter next season, Tebow will be traded (and he'll have his agent demanding it) and the Jets will be drafting McElroy's back-up in the draft. Mark Sanchez will be lucky to see the field as a starter next season and in two years he'll be out of the NFL. Sanchez will only be on the Jets next season because of the cap hit they'll take if they trade or cut him.

I dont watch much college ball or know much about the players but I was really impressed with Tyler Eifert / Notre Dame tight end. Is he first round talent?

I could be wrong but I thought I saw him the #1 TE in the draft.
Someone will correct me if so.

I would say so, except that under a Chip Kelly offense, I don't know how much use that he'd get.

It doesn't seem to me that the TE is featured significantly in Chip Kelly's offense. Although, Belichek, who is reported to have spoken with Chip Kelly quite a lot about football uses his TEs quite significantly.

I've been seeing Eifert slotted in the late 1st / early 2nd. Always the top tight end.

From what I've read, a much better value at TE is Zack Ertz out of Stanford in the 2nd round.

What about wide receivers? Hasn't been too much talk about them . . .

I'm starting a campaign right now for us to suck this season for the top draft pick. For too long we have been bad but not bad enough to really land that A-1 difference maker. One season of awfulness for what I will call

"Play Dead for Ted"(Teddy Bridgewater)

This kid can play ball in a serious way. I see a lot of Aaron Rodgers in him.

C.J. Fiedorowicz from Iowa will be a monster in the NFL. Iowa just gives me zero help from the QB spot.
