The only realistic ones I could see would be (assuming Joeckel is already taken):
OT Taylor Lewan, Michigan QB Geno Smith, WVU OT Jake Matthews, TAMU (if he declares) DT Star Lotulelei, Utah DT Johnathan Hankins, Ohio State or if another QB prospect rises
Arizona and Buffalo pick after us. AZ desperately needs OL and QB. Buffalo could draft a QB or a WR, and I think with their needs and the talent available int he draft neither team is likely to trade down.
Teams who really, really need OTs: Philadelphia (4th) Detroit (5th) Arizona (7th) San Diego (11th) St Louis (16th, 22nd) Pittsburgh (17th) Dallas (18th) Chicago (20th)
Teams who could consider drafting a QB a priority: Kansas City (1st) Jacksonville (2nd) Oakland (3rd) Philadelphia (4th) Cleveland (6th) Arizona (7th) Buffalo (8th) New York Jets (9th) Tampa Bay (13th -- they are not extending Freeman this offseason) Dallas (18th)

I'd be pretty shocked if Star Lotulelei was there. If he was, I'd be tempted to take him and trade either Taylor or Rubin.
you had a good run Hank.

I really like the thought of dropping to St. Louis 22nd overall. And pick up a 2nd. At 22 I think I would pick one of:
Tyler Eifert,TE Warmack,OG Cooper,OG Xavier Rhodes, CB Sam Montgomery,DE Okafor,DE Zac Ertz,TE
Probably in this order but I haven't put a whole lot of thought into order.
And then assuming the 2nd round pick is about 48. best available from one of the positions above except TE. There seems to be a big drop off at TE after the top two go so if we want to draft one we can wait to round 3 or 4.

I think moving back to 11 (SD), 16 or 22 (STL), 18 (DAL), or 20 (CHI) are much more likely to yield anything valuable.
Of course, PHI could decide they want Geno Smith and a stud tackle and offer us this year's 2nd and next year's 1st and 3rd for #6.
My preference for this draft as of now:
1) Any trade back which nets us a likely top ten 1st round next year and a 2nd or 3rd this year 2) Any trade back that gets us a 1st or 2nd next year and a 1st this year 3) Damontre Moore 4) Dee Milliner
...subject to change
We're almost on the same page here, which is a good sign....I think
Just a slight difference in order of preference, as to me DE Moore is 1) no matter what. If he's gone I'm with you on the other 3.
Here's another crazy idea though....IF Moore is gone, I'd target the 49ers as a possible team to trade with, possibly even after trading down some slots before that. 49ers have some extra picks (11 as of now before comp picks) and have nowhere to put them on their roster, so they may be a team to trade up and get "their-Julio Jones-missing piece-luxury pick"...best bet right now would be one of the top DTs, but a CB or WR is possible too. Their pick is in the 26 to 32 range, so we'd get their 1st next year and their late 2nd this year and probably one of their 2 3rd rounders this draft
6 (1600p) for ~28 (660), ~ 60 (300), 74 (220) + 2014 1st rounder
Would you do it? Instead of 6, 68 and 102 we'd have ~28, ~60, 74 and 102...and an extra 1st next year
Late first my targets would be TE Ertz, DE Okafor, CB Banks...one of them should be there...I could even be ok with a QB gamble there (Wilson?) or late 2nd (Nassib? Bray?) if we did this "ATL deal re-loaded"

What's your problem there? The prospects? or me being a Weeden pimp?
I like Wilson and Nassib, they have some value....Bray is somewhat a wildcard, but with Haslam as our owner, you never know.
As for Weeden, even I, as his biggest pimp, know that he's still a 50-50 bet to succeed or fail, so since Colt is no option and gone anyway since he's in his last year of his rook contract...what's wrong with a fallback plan? and if you read carfully I didn't say that's what I would do, just that I would be "more ok with" since I think this "brain trust" wants their own QB....in a trade down scenario, it'd make more sense AND it would help sell the next RE-build propganda better.
I'm ALL about VALUE when it comes to the draft..and when you have more picks, you can gamble a little bit more since QBs is the most volitile position when it comes to value and boom/bust. It would be a MUCH greater risk if we stay put and have only 2 Top 100 picks, that was my whole point

I could do that deal, but I wouldn't be crazy about it being with the Niners (since they seem pretty good... future 1 could be pretty late) Of course, if they stick with Kaepernick at QB in that improving division they could end up picking around 16-20...
you sold me on that.
Assuming we weren't able to further unload the traded picks for ammo next year my picks would go more like:
28: S Matt Elam 58: QB Tyler Bray 68: CB David Amerson 90: WR Ryan Swope / RB Stepfan Taylor ~102: DE William Gholston / RB Le'Veon Bell
or maybe
28: S Matt Elam 58: CB David Amerson 68: DE Cornelius Carradine 90: WR Ryan Swope / RB Stepfan Taylor ~102: DE William Gholston / RB Le'Veon Bell

I really hope we'd get a lot more than #22 and a 2nd for #6. Though the draft value chart isn't the bible of draft trades, it is usually pretty close and #6 (1600 pts) minus #22 (780 pts) equates to 820 points (between #20 and #21). They'd have to throw in another 2nd rounder to make it worthwhile. Even #16 (1000 pts) and a 2nd would require another 3rd or 4th rounder at minimum for me to consider it.

Tyler Bray left school early. That seems like a mistake to me.

long-term probably. but, for this draft, it seems pretty weak at QB. probably banking on going a couple rounds higher than he would next year with possibly Johnny Football joining Aaron Murray and others.

I think he's going to do great in the offseason/evaluation period. It was a smart move IMO, especially losing Hunter, Patterson, and last year Rogers. Next year he's already behind at the very least Manziel and Bridgewater. This year he can make himself one of the top 3 QB prospects since the field is so open.
I mean, Nassib and Glennon are being talked about as potential 1st rounders.

Good thing we drafted a QB in the first round last year and have no need for a QB this year. I would hate to have to select from the craptastic field of QBs in this year's draft.
Wait, what?!

well, we don't know who will be the coach yet, or what the offensive philosophy will be, so maybe we won't!

They would probably have to throw in a second next year that could be packaged for a move up.

or, even if they decide we do need a QB, they may still decide to wait a year (and go with a Alex Smith 1year fill-in option or even let Weeden play out another year)

Taylor Lewan is returning to Michigan. Probably the 2nd rated tackle.
