If you think he is bringing this scheme with him to the NFL, then we have nothing left to discuss.
But this isnt the thread for this.
What is he bringing then? A bunch of buzz words like 'innovation' and 'synergy' and 'up tempo'? Cuz if it ain't the playbook then what?

Much as he has said many times, he fits a system around players, rather than sticking with a scheme to put his players in. I think it's safe to say that he'd stick with a spread, since that's all he has run, but what type? Dunno. But I figured you would have known that, with you being so anti Kelly and all... By the way, did you see that adjustment? Wide open tight ends down the seam, opens up the rest of the offense. But no, you probably didn't. Because Kelly doesn't make any in game adjustments, right?
you had a good run Hank.

Barner's TD was a broken play checkdown. Not done by 'innovative design'.

KSU's FB #37 has been cleaning some clocks... He knocked two guys into the air at the same time on the first option play.

They showed the replay of Barner's TD. The D lost discipline with two guys crashing towards the QB. It allowed Barner free. Again discipline is key.

They can't even show a replay of the RB's knee may/may not be down before the next play is off...Love it!

I've never seen a 1 point safety.
Does that exist in the NFL?

No, once the try is no good, the play is over in the nfl. Would have been blown dead when ksu gained control of the ball.

NFL Rule 11-3-2-d: If there is no kick, and the Try results in what would ordinarily be a safety against the defense, one point is awarded to the offensive team. Approved Ruling 11.4: During a Try, placekick holder A1 fumbles. B1 kicks, bats, or muffs the loose ball (new impetus) on his 2 and it goes out of bounds behind the goal line. Ruling: Ordinarily a safety (11-5-1). Award one point. So actually it can happen in the NFL. I never knew that. Link Its on page 70.

I didn't know that. I knew about the 1 point safety for college, but I just figured the play was dead in the NFL once the ball was possesed by the defending team. Wow.

I like Johnny Heisman better
Great game by the Aggies... close 1st half and then they laid the smack down! Aggies finished the season as one of the most dangerous teams IMO. Will be interesting to see how they do next year - they are losing several key players (with both tackles still thinking about leaving for the draft as well).

The Aggies are stacked down there in College Station and I still say that the SEC is going to rue the day that they agreed to let them into the conference. It's likely that A&M is going to dominate that conference over the next decade or so.

Call me crazy, guys, but I feel motivated to watch the BBVA Compass Bowl between Ole Miss and Pitt. It's on BSPN right now. Who knows? There may be a draft prospect we'll end up liking in this game!

For as bad as Pitt has been, they always seem to crank out really good players.

You've missed two really good ones.
Clemson vs LSU
Stanford vs Wisconsin
Most have sucked

I haven't gambled since October, I was doing horrible so I just backed off. And it made me realize after probably 5 or 6 straight years of betting almost every single bowl game, how worthless the bowl season is. It flat out blows.
I tuned in to Oregon/KSU for a bit, but I'm only interested in the NC game, the rest of these games are just not any good. LSU and Clemson was great, but even that wasn't watchable the whole time.

No need to be a party pooper on our parade! Don't get me wrong, I believe we have way too many bowl games around this time. I'd be happy to get rid of at least 10 of these bowl games featuring mediocre teams, but we know what it comes down to. Money and sponsorship deals.

No doubt that I have.
I've just had other things to do now. I'll probably tune into most of the NFL playoffs though.

Roby coming back is a huge plus.... but our front 7 on defense is really young. There's plenty of talent and its gona be interesting to see what happens at LB. Especially, with picking up Tre Johnson and Mike Mitchell this week.

losing Hankins is going to suck. Winning that Michigan game without Simon was good though. I was worried when we found out he wasn't playing.
Those kids are definitely young, but they have recruited well on the d-line.
I'm just hoping Braxton Miller can make a good improvement as a passer. He's never going to be Andrew Luck, but I still think he has room to get better. If he takes off, I don't know if there is a team in the B1G that will be able to keep up with them.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
