It is pretty disgusting watching Wisconsin lose 3 of their last 4 to back into the Big 10 title game.
What a difference coaching makes though, almost the same roster and a similarly weak schedule last year and this team went 6-7. Lots to look forward to next year.

Congrats to the Bucks but really?
How many teams in the top 15 would have gone undefeated playing OSU's schedule? 75% of them?
I don't think it is "hating". I'm more surprised there isn't a little more disgust. OSU wasted an undefeated season because an incompetent AD is still on the payroll.

I didn't see his response. I think I ignored him a while ago.
But in all seriousness, should be fun moving forward.
Good luck in the Big Ten Championship.

Y'all are too sensitive. Just a little bit of playful ribbing. For what it's worth, I would've loved to watch a ND OSU national championship game.
If UToledo could ever field a defense we wouldn't be over rated.

A 5 point victory in Columbus and that makes any team a "bitch." Makes perfect sense.......

yeah sucks we cant play nebraska again. Could have been playing it the Title game against ND that would have been fun for sure. Probably will finish up #2 in the AP poll once its all said and done which is pretty darn good in and of itself. Lots to be proud of this year for Ohio State. Haters Hate Winners Win.
If you need 3 years to be a winner you got here 2 years to early. Get it done Browns.

You think OSU goes undefeated playing Alabama and ND?
Michigans 4 losses come from two undefeated teams. A team that will likely win the big ten. And a team that IMO will likely win the SEC.
Sorry we can't all play Miami of Ohio and Cal.

Well for a team that played a weak schedule, we sure seemed to beat you.
So even if scUM hadnt played those other three games, they STILL wouldnt be undefeated
Oh and three of Michigans losses came to undefeated teams.

Disappear? Nah. I just don't post as often. I'm still around here reading and shaking my head.
Your bitch again?
It took:
- An injured starting QB - 4 Michigan Turnovers - A terrible offensive game plan - A coach going for it on 4th and 3 at midfield, with the lead
For OSU to win by 5. At home.
If that makes us your bitch, your qualifications are probably pretty low.
It seems as though all OSU fans work from the same assumption:
Meyer's teams will get better moving forward and Hoke's won't.
Hoke just won 19 games in two seasons with players the worst coach in Michigan history recruited. While I'm disappointed that they completely gave the game away yesterday, everyone thinking this will be easy for Meyer is likely in for a wakeup call down the road.

Hoke is a very good coach and I think this game could have been very different with a healthy Robinson... one thing I didn't understand is how they went away from Robinson with 6 min left and down only 2 (I think)
Another great OSU/UM game... I can see several close games in the Hoke/Meyer era. Both have great recruiting classes coming in and have proven to be solid coaches...

Mich defense is what kept them in that game. Ohio State lived on their side the field and only came away with 2 FG's. As mentioned above Mich was running the ball well but the OS Defense also stepped up making big plays and causing the turnovers. I dont care what the teams records are when they meet its going to be a slugfest and normally a very good game. Bo and Woody all over again with Hoke and Meyer.
For the record I thought going for it on 4th down at midfield with the way they were running the ball was a good call. Just because it didnt work doesnt make it a bad call.
Well anyway I hope you guys represent the Big 10 well in whatever bowl game you go to.

Why is Dennard being hurt relevant? Dude can't throw but was still able to use his best assets which was his legs.
News flash, OSU has been forcing turnovers all year, it's how they play.
Our QB almost gave the game away yesterday.
That wasn't a bad call to go for it. What was a bad call was calling a timeout before and running Dennard in that situation. It was horribly executed.

I was just getting sick of them trotting Gardner out there, he completes a nice pass...
Only for them to just take him out so Denard can run into a pile of people...
I swear, after that run at the end of the first half, Borges (UM OC) seemed like he was just waiting for Robinson to break off another run...
Had OSU just kept feeding Hyde the ball (UM couldn't stop him) they would of won by two TDs.
Two more years of Braxton Miller? He'll make some plays with his feet, but the guy is just football stupid...
This was basically a higher scoring version of what happened versus ND. All UM needed was one, maybe two solid drives, not even Touchdowns, just get the ball on the other side of the field, maybe kick a FG...

It did seem like every time Michigan faced a 3rd and short, from the 3rd quarter on, that OSU just stuffed them.
First Michigan drive of the 2nd half: 3rd and 2: run-stuffed. 4th and 2: run-lost 2 yards.
2nd Michigan drive of the 2nd half: 1st and 10: run-stuffed- no gain- fumble, OSU ball
3rd Michigan drive of the 2nd half: 3rd and 2: run- stuffed - lost 1 yard
4th Michigan drive of the 2nd half: 3rd and 1: run-stuffed - lost 2 yards
5th Michigan drive of the 2nd half:2nd and 10: run-stuffed- lost 1 yard, fumble, OSU ball
6th Michigan drive of the 2nd half: 2nd and 20: INT
That's it.
However, in the 1st half, Michigan somehow had Robinson gain the bulk of his 122 rushing yards.
In the 2nd half, he ran 4 times for 0 yards, with 2 fumbles.
Gardner had a shot at the end of the game to try and win the game ..... and on that drive he went 1-5 for no yards (after a Michigan penalty) and an INT.
Michigan's coaches still had them in position to win the game, but OSU kept making plays and Michigan simply did not make plays in the 2nd half.

Robinson being hurt was hugely relevant. OSU knew when he was in it was a run because he physically couldn't throw the ball. Also, he couldn't carry the ball in his right hand at all, which I'm sure didn't help him.
Also, Robinson can be a very good passer, he just has a habit of not setting his feet and that gets him into huge trouble. He was never a great quarterback, but he has a strong arm, and the threat of him running opened up huge holes for the passing game, and that threat was gone yesterday.
Borges was an idiot for not having Robinson and Gardner on the field at the same time yesterday.

What game did you watch? I saw spoon boy and gardner on field together a lot.
The whiny excuses by scUM fan is quite bitch like, but losing 9 of 11 will help that status

Going over what happened during the course of a game is not "excuse" making.
It's that type of OSU fan mentality that leads to people not at all "feeling bad" for your situation.
OSU won, yes, but if you watched that game, and last year, and can see what Hoke is trying to build, and you still think it's going to be like it was toward the end of the Carr and RR years, then you may be dissapointed.
Assuming both Meyer and Hoke are here for 10 years it's going to be very competitive, and there are going to be A LOT of in season rematches in the title game..

Why is it relevant?
His stat line against OSU last season was 15/17 for 167 yards, 3 TD's. 26 carries, 170 yards, 2 TD's.
And after reading that you need to ask why it is relevant that he was injured?
This is precisely why I don't bother with a lot of discussion on here. You can call it "going away" or whatever it is that makes you feel better but there's way too many people that just get on here and ignore logical thought.
I'm sure a lot of it is emotion but asking why a guy who has 10,000+ career yards and nearly 100 TD's being hurt is relevant makes absolutely no sense.
The point of my post was that OSU had an unbelievable string of good fortune that led to them winning this game. And they won it by just 5 points, at home. Michigan lost their starting RB and starting QB before the game and made a few absolutely mental mistakes to aide a close win for OSU. It was simply a reply to all the people who think Urban Meyer is just going to roll out of bed and beat Michigan every year.
Anyway, I'm going to "hide" again. It's more enjoyable to read this board now a days than it is to try to get roped in to these discussions.

Absolutely. Should be a fun few years. Although recruiting for the rest of the league has been a bit concerning.
In 2012 Rivals had OSU #4 and Michigan #7. There were no other B1G schools in the top 20 and the next two highest teams were Nebraska at #25 and MSU at #41.
In 2013 Rivals has Michigan #5 and OSU #8. There are no other B1G schools in the top 20 and the next two highest teams are Wisconsin at #25 and Nebraska at #30.
The league lives off of OSU and Michigan being good but that is just a massive talent gap.
In 2012 OSU(16) and Michigan (12) had (28) 4/5 star players between them. The rest of the conference had (22), COMBINED. In 2013 OSU(12) and Michigan (14) have (26) 4/5 star players between them. The rest of the conference has (22), COMBINED.
Michigan and OSU are also the only two schools to get any (5) star players the past two seasons (Michigan 3, OSU 2).
It will fun as it pertains to the rivalry but as a fan of the conference, it is certainly worrying that all the other schools are lagging so far behind. Especially when you consider the additions of Rutgers and Maryland, neither of which bring considerable talent to the table. Some of that can be mitigated by coaching and player development but Meyer and Hoke are also good coaches, so that would seem to be a lesser factor.
I hope some of these schools bounce back but they have to be looking at the "arms race" and wondering how they're going to consistently compete moving forward.

Oh so he would have put up the same numbers passing? Dennard is a great athlete that can run but he played the game of his life against OSU. His numbers passing prior were crap. Cause you know it's not like OSU is a completely different team from last year.

Do you look up anything before you respond?
I don't mean to sound like a jerk but honestly, I'm just curious at this point.
2011 OSU defense: 323.5 YPG, 5.1 YPP, 21 PPG 2012 OSU defense: 359.58 YPG, 5.1 YPP, 22.8 PPG
This 2012 OSU defense was statistically WORSE than 2011.....but let me guess, they had sooooooo many more takeaways? No, they didn't. OSU had 21 takeaways this year, 20 last year.
Robinson would have given that defense a ton of problems. Hell, without the threat of a pass he ran for 122 yards.

Yep.
Assuming that a guy will duplicate the game of his life again is often wishful thinking ..... especially when tOSU has improved on defense.
2 years ago, Robinson threw 18 TD and was picked 11 times. Last year he improved to 20 TD, but also went up to 15 INT. (counting the bowl game) He got to play Notre Dame and tOSU in down years for both programs. His last 2 games against Nebraska and tOSU resulted in 5 TD and 1 INT. Going into the Nebraska game, he had 13 TD passing and 13 INT, if I count right.
He's a talented player, but not an all world QB. He had 5 games last year where he didn't even complete 50% of his passes. (6 if you count Michigan's bowl game) The game against tOSU was the outlier in terms of completion %, QB rating, and TD/INT ratio for the year.
He had not duplicated anything approaching that level of success this season, even before he got hurt. He had 9 TD and 9 INT when he got hurt against Nebraska. He had some huge rushing games, but he was a marginal factor as passing goes, to say the least.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

i agree that Denard being hurt played a big part in the game, but it's impossible to know what would have happened if he was healthy. the Bucks played the sloppiest game i have seen them play this year and won, so i'm not going to complain. a win against that team up north is a win. and, someone mentioned above Michigan has only lost to 2 undefeated teams (OSU, ND) + Bama (favored SEC champ) and Nebraska (favored Big10 champ) hmm, well the Buckeyes beat one of those teams and were one of those teams. so, they were halfway there and proven to be better than Michigan twice (beating them themselves and the common opponent where Michigan lost)

Michigan only beat one team all year that finished with a winning record. Northwestern in OT. Plus only beat Air Force by 6 in the Big House.
Michigan had 279 offensive yards, that includes the 75 yd TD pass and the 67 yard TD run. On their other 45 plays they gained a total of 137 yards.
Michigan was a muffed punt and a broken tackle away from getting blown out.

I was VERY concerned we were going to get a taunting penalty on that play. Not just that Boren stood over him, but he kind of lunged a little at him. The way the flags were flying I thought for sure that was going to be a penalty. Great picture though!
