Or how about being behind the woman who "just knows she has exact change in her purse ....... somewhere ........"

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Heck I pay cash and I add up my total as I throw things in the buggy. I already have my cash in my hand by the time the cashier gives me the total and I am always withing one dollar of my total. If there was a olympic event for getting your groceries on the belt, back in your buggy, and paid for the fastest I could take the gold medal

I can probably still swipe my card and sign the slip faster.

It takes about 3 seconds for the credit card to process, and I sign with a scribble that takes about 1 second.

Now my mom would take much longer, because she signs her full name, in a completely legible manner ...... so she probably takes 20 seconds total.

I think that you're rather buggy.

I went to the store today, and I had a little cash so I decided to do the cash experience again.

My bill came to $9.07 ..... which meant that I got a pocket full of change instead of just putting it on my card.

I think that I'll stick with my cards. Much easier, and much less change rattling around.

Just give me your change then ytown. It adds up quick and I cash it in when it builds up to $100.00 and take my better half out to dinner with it

I would rather just keep my change in the bank and earn the pittance of interest on it that I get.

Don't sign mine to see if the store checks for sig. If they handle it, I want then to ask for and check my driver's license. Vendors handle it less often anymore. Had my number swiped by unscrupulous guy on the Left Coast who ran it unsecured website. Ended up with scammers using it and it took awhile to sort out the account. Good news was the scammers got caught, a ring of three. Pain in the drain!

It wouldn't matter if your signature & name match the card. Anyone can make a fake ID. Just sign your damned cards people. They are NOT valid unless signed. You put the merchant in a tight spot by not doing so. But, no...of course it's all about YOU.

Along those lines - checking my card statement 6 or 8 months ago - I noticed a $20 charge at a fast food restaurant - in Florida.

I live in Ohio, and have not been to Florida in years. Called the card company, explained I hadn't been in Florida, plus, who charges exactly $20 at a fast food rest? Also, if I had been in florida and had to charge my "fast food", wouldn't you think there'd be a hotel bill charged also, or gas, or plane tickets?

They took the charge off - and sent me a new card with a new number.

I always sign my cards. As soon as they come in the mail I use my sharp point sharpie to sign them, then I let the ink dry then put them in my wallet!
