I just booked in a job for Friday. I will collect the deposit thurs night and if the world ends I have an excuse for buying that new 60" TV to watch it on.

After seeing some of the doomsday preppers and thinking about the fact that these will be the people procreating and repopulating the world, I think death is the best alternative for the rest of us.

I think you're off there. They lived on the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, which is UTC-6, still a shade over 5 hours from now and the world isn't supposed to end until just after 11am, so we still have 16 hours left.

They stopped working on the calendar. I can just imagine some lackey going to work all day, every day banging out this "calendar," going home to his wife telling her what a rough day he had. One day at the "office" he just stops, blankly stares at his work and says, "screw it, this is stupid!" . . . LOL So I wonder, if they would have just ended their calendar with the words, "yadda yadda yadda." would the tin foil club still put out their doomsday proclamation?
